A centrifugal fan includes: a housing installed at both sides of a driving motor and having an air suction opening and an air discharge opening; an impeller installed inside the housing and discharging air sucked through the air suction opening through the air discharge opening while being rotated by the driving motor; a motor bracket coupled to one side of the housing and connecting the housing the driving motor; and a noise reducing unit for minimizing a noise of air discharged to the air discharge opening.

Centrifugal fan

A fan guide including a guide body, a central frame positioned at a central portion of the guide body and having an outer circumferential region, a plurality of motor fixtures formed at the outer circumferential region of the central frame for fixing a motor coupled with a fan, and at least three straight connecting frames for connecting the guide body and the central frame to each other, wherein one of intersection points among imaginary lines extending the three straight connecting frames is inside the outer circumferential region and the other intersection points among imaginary lines extending the three straight connecting frames are outside the outer circumferential region. By this arrangement, it is possible to decrease the degree of noise resulting from a blade passing frequency while destroying the regularity of a vortex shedding formed at each frame to reduce the interaction between a vortex flow and fan blades, thereby achieving a reduction in noise and flow loss.

Fan guide

A laundry dryer has a drum rotatively installed inside a case, a heater heating air flowing inside the drum, a rear plate coupled so as to cover a rear portion of the drum and having a vertically elongated inlet hole traversing upper and lower areas of the drum body, a central portion of the vertically elongated inlet hole crossing a horizontal line of the rear plate, and an inlet duct covering the inlet hole and simultaneously having a plurality of duct holes formed at a portion covering the inlet hole so as to guide air heated by the heater to flow inside the drum. The present invention enables the common use of the rear plate for both electrical and gas laundry dryers, and thus allows the use of a common line for assembly. Therefore, the present invention reduces product costs and increases productivity.
