To enable the effective supply of fuel in a low remaining fuel condition, even in a saddle-ride vehicle with a requirement for an increased fuel tank capacity being provided within a limited amount of space. The saddle-ride vehicle includes an engine having a cylinder disposed on a crankcase; an intake system component disposed at the rear of the cylinder for sucking air into the engine; and a fuel tank disposed above the engine for storing fuel. The saddle-ride type vehicle includes a fuel suction port in a side bottom plate portion of the fuel tank for feeding fuel to the intake system component. The saddle-ride vehicle has a sub-chamber having a wall that surrounds the fuel suction port and the sub-chamber includes a fuel flow opening toward the vehicle rear.

Saddle-ride type vehicle

A saddle-ride type vehicle prevents attachment accuracy from causing influence on assembly especially in a case of attaching lid opening levers to grab rails and attaching lid opening mechanisms to a vehicle body frame side separately from the lid opening levers Each lid opening lever is pivotally attached to a grab rail through a pivot center shaft. Each lid opening mechanism is bolted to a stay on an upper pipe. The lid opening lever is provided with an engagement portion. A curved surface portion provided on an upper end portion of a bent protrusion a projecting upward from the lid opening mechanism is inserted in the engagement portion to vertically engage the lid opening lever and the lid opening mechanism with each other. In this way, the assembly can be done without being influenced by the attachment accuracy.

A saddle-ride vehicle includes a vehicle-body frame, an engine, a seat, a storage box, a box lid, a box-side locking mechanism, a filler lid, a filler-side locking mechanism, an unlocking mechanism, a box-side cable, and a filler-side cable. The unlocking mechanism includes a key cylinder which is key-operated. The unlocking mechanism is disposed between a head pipe and the storage box. The box-side cable is connected to the key cylinder. The box-side cable is to be caused to unlock a lock of the box-side locking mechanism by turning a key in one of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction. The filler-side cable is connected to the key cylinder. The filler-side cable is to be caused to unlock a lock of the filler-side locking mechanism by turning the key in another of the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.

Saddle-ride vehicle

A body structure of a straddle-ride vehicle includes a body frame, a handlebar, a front fork, a front wheel guide member, and an opposite cover. The handlebar is turnably provided on the body frame. The fork extends from the handlebar and rotatably supports a front wheel. The front wheel guide member is disposed at a front portion of the body frame in a traveling direction of the vehicle and faces the front wheel. The front wheel guide member includes a slant portion extending from one side to another side in a vehicle-width direction and from a front to a rear in the traveling direction. The opposite cover is supported by the front fork to cover a rear portion of the front wheel and faces the front wheel guide member.

Body structure of straddle-ride vehicle

A saddle-type vehicle is provided with an impact member for deflecting a front wheel sideways in the event of a collision. The saddle-type vehicle includes a body frame having a head pipe for rotatably supporting a steering shaft for the front wheel, main frames extending rearwards from the head pipe, and an engine operatively mounted to the main frames. The impact member is disposed in front of a lower portion of the engine. The impact member includes a support part, which extends forwardly from the engine, and a load-receiving deflector plate mounted to the support part and which is inclined away from a vehicle width direction.
