A battery system includes a plurality of battery modules including battery cells in which electrode tabs having different polarities are formed at both ends thereof, wherein a plurality of battery cells are stacked. The plurality of battery modules includes: a first terminal having a first positive electrode terminal and a first negative electrode terminal, which are formed by connecting electrode tabs located at one end of the battery cells to each other among the plurality of electrode tabs; and a second terminal having a second positive electrode terminal and a second negative electrode terminal, which are formed by connecting electrode tabs located at the other end of the battery cells to each other among the plurality of electrode tabs. The first and second terminals of any one battery module of the plurality of battery modules are arranged to be electrically connected with the first and second terminals of battery modules adjacent to the any one battery module.

Battery system

A battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells which have positive electrode tabs and negative electrode tab formed at both ends thereof, respectively, wherein the plurality of battery cells are stacked; a first bus bar assembly having first bus bars to which the positive electrode tabs and the negative electrode tabs located at one end of the battery cells are connected; a second bus bar assembly having second bus bars to which the positive electrode tabs and the negative electrode tabs located at the other end of the battery cells are connected; and a sensing unit which is connected to any one bus bar of the first and second bus bars to detect states of the battery cells.

Battery module including stacked battery cells

The battery module of the present invention includes a plurality of battery cells and a heat exchange unit configured to cool the plurality of battery cells, and the heat exchange unit includes: a flow frame through which coolant inflows and outflows; and a frame cover which is in contact with the plurality of battery cells, wherein the frame cover is coupled to the flow frame to form a flow space, through which the inflowing and outflowing coolant flows, together with the flow frame.

Battery module

A battery module, includes: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a first heat dissipation member disposed on one side of the cell stack; a second heat dissipation member disposed on the other side of the cell stack; and a blocking member providing a plurality of insulation spaces in which the battery cells are disposed, the blocking member surrounding at least one surface of each of the battery cells; wherein the plurality of the battery cells, include a first battery cell having a surface contacting the first heat dissipation member; and a second battery cell having a surface contacting the second heat dissipation member.

A battery module may include a plurality of secondary battery cells; a cell accommodating unit equipped with at least one of the secondary battery cells in a procumbent state; a cover unit coupled to the cell accommodating unit and covering an opening of the cell accommodating unit accommodating the secondary battery cells; and a heat sink unit provided in the cell accommodating unit and the cover unit and in contact with a bottom portion and a top portion of the secondary battery cells to release heat generated by the secondary battery cells externally.

The present invention provides a battery module including: a pair of battery groups in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a first heat exchanger disposed between the pair of battery groups to perform heat exchange with first stacked surfaces of the pair of battery groups; and a pair of second heat exchangers disposed outside the pair of battery groups to perform heat exchange with second stacked surfaces which are sides opposite to the first stacked surfaces.

A battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells stacked in a horizontal direction; a first plate supporting lower sides of the plurality of the battery cells and dissipating heat generated in the battery cells; and a second plate in contact with upper sides of the battery cells and dissipating heat generated in the battery cells, wherein the second plate comprises accommodation grooves to receive corresponding sealing portions formed in the upper sides of the battery cells, wherein a heat transfer material having a dielectric strength of from 10 kV/mm to 30 kV/mm is disposed in the accommodation grooves.

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a module case for accommodating the battery cell stack therein; and a bus bar assembly disposed between the module case and the battery cell stack and electrically connected to the battery cells. The bus bar assembly may include at least one bus bar and a thermal conduction unit for embedding the bus bar therein. The thermal conduction unit may be formed of a resin material containing a thermally conductive filler.

Provided is a battery pack. The battery pack includes a battery module including first and second battery cells that are disposed adjacent to each other, wherein first and second electrode terminals are disposed on each of the first and second electrode terminals, a fuse part including a first fuse connecting the second electrode terminal of the first battery cell to the first electrode terminal of the second battery cell, and a switching device including a first switch disposed outside a top surface of the first battery cell of the battery module and connected to the first fuse and a second switch disposed below the first switch and connected to the second electrode terminal of the second battery cell.

The present invention relates to a battery module, which includes one or more battery cell units, and the battery cell unit includes a battery cell, a fixing member located surrounding an outer circumference surface of the battery cell, and a heat absorbing material located between the battery cell and the fixing member, and as a result, heat generation inside the battery module is suppressed, and ignition between the series-connected battery cell units may be suppressed. Accordingly, excellent charge and discharge efficiency, an excellent cycle property and a lifespan property of the battery may be exhibited without concern for explosion or ignition of the battery module.
