A display device includes: a pixel including a first transistor connected between a first node and a second node to generate a driving current; an emission driver supplying an emission control signal; a scan driver supplying first to fourth scan signals in a period in which the emission control signal is supplied; a data drive supplying a data signal; a power supply supplying a voltage of a first power source; and a timing controller controlling driving of the scan driver, the emission driver, the data driver, and the power supply The first scan signal controls a timing at which the voltage of the first power source is supplied to the first node or the second node. The power supply changes a level of the voltage of the first power source in one frame period.

Pixel and display device having the same

A display device includes a pixel including a first transistor coupled between a first node and a second node, an emission driver supplying an emission control signal at a first frequency to an emission control line, a scan driver supplying first to fourth scan signals respectively to first to fourth scan lines, a data driver supplying a data signal to a data line, and a timing controller. The first scan signal controls a timing at which a voltage of a first power source is supplied to the first node or the second node, and the second scan signal controls a timing at which a first electrode of the first transistor and a gate electrode of the first transistor are coupled to each other. The scan driver controls a bias state of the first transistor by supplying, plural times, the first and second scan signals in a non-emission period.

Display device

A display device includes a display driver configured to drive pixels in correspondence with input image data, timing signals, and a brightness selection signal. The display driver includes a storage unit configured to store gamma data and a duty value for each of a plurality of sample brightness levels including a K-th sample brightness level, and a brightness controller, the display driver being configured to control the brightness of the display area according to the gamma data or the duty value or gamma data obtained by non-linearly interpolating gamma data of a (K&#x2212;1)-th sample brightness level and the K-th sample brightness level, with respect to a tuning point brightness level. A light emission time of the pixels corresponding to the (K&#x2212;1)-th sample brightness level is less than or equal to 10% shorter than the light emission time of the pixels corresponding to the K-th sample brightness level.

Display device and method of controlling brightness of the same based on sample brightness levels

A display device is provided including a much sensor including a touch controller and a display panel overlapped by the touch sensor and configured to display an image. A display panel driver is, electrically connected to the display panel and configured to supply a driving signal to the display panel. The display panel driver is electrically connected to the touch controller and is configured to transmit a noise sensing signal to the touch controller.

A voltage value setting device including a test control unit which provides a temporary black grayscale voltage value and a temporary transistor off voltage value to a display device, and a luminance measurement unit which measures a luminance of a black grayscale that the display device displays based on the temporary black grayscale voltage value and the temporary transistor off voltage value. When the measured luminance of the black grayscale is lower than a black luminance threshold, the test control unit provides the display device with a black grayscale voltage value, set by adding a first margin value to the temporary black grayscale voltage value, and a transistor off voltage value, set by adding a second margin value to the temporary transistor off voltage value.
