A display apparatus with improved assembility, productivity and quality. The display apparatus includes: a display panel; a rear chassis covering a rear surface of the display panel, and the rear chassis including a coupling protrusion protruding toward the display panel; a reflective sheet including a fixing hole in which the coupling protrusion is inserted, and rested on a front surface of the rear chassis when the coupling protrusion is inserted in the fixing hole; and a substrate coupled to the rear chassis in a front direction of the reflective sheet such that the reflective sheet is prevented from being separated from the rear chassis, wherein a plurality of light sources configured to irradiate light toward the display panel are mounted on the substrate.

A motor driving device is disclosed. The motor driving device includes: a rectifier rectifying alternating current (AC) power into direct current (DC) power to output an input voltage; a first buck-boost converter including a plurality of switches for converting the input voltage and having a buck mode of stepping down the input voltage and a boost mode of stepping up the input voltage; an inverter converting a DC-link voltage transformed from the first buck-boost converter into an AC voltage and transferring the AC voltage to a motor; and a controller receiving motor information related to driving of the motor, comparing magnitudes of a desired DC-link voltage depending on the received motor information and the input voltage with each other, and performing a control to switch only any one of the plurality of switches so that the first buck-boost converter is operated in the buck mode or the boost mode.

A device and method for controlling the initiation of an image forming apparatus are provided using a NAND flash memory. The device for controlling initiation of an image forming apparatus includes: a NAND flash memory for storing a boot program and system control programs for initiating the image forming apparatus; a random-access-memory (RAM) for temporarily storing an execution program and data; and a driving unit arranged to first read the boot program and an engine control program among the system control programs from the NAND flash memory, execute the boot program and the engine control program, then read remaining system control programs from the NAND flash memory and store the remaining system control programs in the RAM when the boot program and the engine control program are being executed. Since the remaining system control programs and data that have not been read during printing preparation are read by driving a driving unit of the image forming apparatus, the preparation time for the image forming apparatus to begin printing operation can be greatly shortened.

A supporter usable with a display apparatus includes a base, a vertical moving member coupled to a display main body, a guide frame coupled to the base to support the vertical moving member to slide up and down, a spring rotor supported in the vertical moving member rotatably having a rotational axis transverse to a moving direction of the vertical moving member to move up and down along with the vertical moving member, a spiral plate spring having an inside end part coupled to the spring rotor as being wound around the spring rotor and an outside end part coupled to the guide frame to elastically resist a downward movement of the vertical moving member, a spring friction part to frictionally contact the spiral plate spring to resist a rotational movement of the spiral plate spring, and a rotor friction part to frictionally contact the spring rotor to resist a rotational movement of the spring rotor.
