A method of forming a touch screen panel including first sensing electrodes in an active region of a substrate and arranged along a first direction and second sensing electrodes arranged along a second direction intersecting the first direction, the method including forming the first sensing electrodes and first connection patterns, the first connection patterns connecting the first sensing electrodes along the first direction; forming an insulating pattern capping the first sensing electrodes and the first connection patterns so that the first sensing electrodes and the first connection patterns are not exposed; and forming the second sensing electrodes between the first sensing electrodes, and second connection patterns on the insulating pattern, the second connection patterns connecting the second sensing electrodes along the second direction.

Touch screen panel having overlapping sensing electrodes and method of  manufacturing the same

There is provided a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a built-in touch screen panel in which the touch screen panel is built-in the LCD. The LCD with the built-in touch screen panel includes a lower substrate on whose upper surface a pixel electrode is formed, an upper substrate on whose bottom surface facing the lower substrate sensing patterns, color filters, and a common electrode are sequentially formed, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the lower substrate and the upper substrate.

A touch screen panel that prevents sensing patterns from being viewable at a border of a touch active region. A flat panel display device with touch screen is provided. The flat panel display device includes a substrate, a black matrix, a ground line, and a ground line contact. The substrate includes an active region, and an inactive region surrounding the active region. The black matrix is disposed on the substrate in the inactive region, and includes a metal. The ground line is disposed on the black matrix, in the inactive region. The ground line contact electrically connects the ground line to the black matrix.

A touch screen panel according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: first and second substrates each being divided into a touch active region and a touch non-active region that is located outside the touch active region; second sensing electrodes at the touch active region on a first surface of the first substrate; first sensing electrodes divided into at least two groups respectively at the touch active regions on different surfaces of the first and second substrates, a group of the at least two groups being on a second surface of the first substrate or at least one surface of the second substrate; and outside wirings connected to the first and second sensing electrodes, the outside wirings and the sensing electrodes on a same one of the substrates being at a same plane.

A touch screen panel includes a transparent substrate; first detection cells and second detection cells alternately disposed on an active touch area of one surface of the transparent substrate in such a manner that the first detection cells are connected to each other along a first direction and second detection cells are connected to each other along a second direction; a driving/shield electrode formed throughout the other surface of the transparent substrate in such a manner that ends of the driving/shield electrode are located at an inner side of the transparent substrate while being spaced apart from a boundary line of the transparent substrate by a predetermined interval; and a first insulation layer formed throughout the other surface of the transparent substrate, on which the driving/shield electrode is formed, to cover an exposed surface of the driving/shield electrode, inclusive of sides of the driving/shield electrode.
