A suspension controller for a vehicle which includes a plurality of suspension units containing a hydraulic fluid and which is designed to bear a part or the whole of the load of the vehicle body by utilizing the pressure of the hydraulic fluid and to expand or contract the suspension units by adjusting the amount of hydraulic fluid contained in the suspension units, thereby adjusting the attitude of the vehicle body. An anticipated change in the attitude of the vehicle is estimated from present running conditions of the vehicle, and control of each of the suspension units is started immediately thereafter so as to suppress the change in attitude or change the attitude of the vehicle as desired. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively control the attitude of the vehicle during cornering or at the time of moving the vehicle forward rapidly from start or when the brakes are applied suddenly. Thus, the driving performance is improved by a large margin, and the occupant of the vehicle can be assured of enjoying a comfortable ride.

Suspension controller for vehicle

A vehicle height adjusting apparatus includes a height adjustor receiving therein or exhausting therefrom pressurized air to adjust the height of a vehicle, an air compressor for supplying pressurized air to the height adjustor, a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the air compressor, and a control device including an actuating circuit for operating the air compressor and a memory circuit receiving a signal from the temperature detector to stop the operation of the actuating circuit when the temperature detected by the temperature detector exceeds a predetermined level.

Vehicle height adjusting apparatus

A vehicle height adjusting device includes an air compressor, an air tank storing pressurized air produced in the air compressor, a dehumidifying device provided between the air compressor and the air tank, and an elevating device for elevating or descending the height of a vehicle and receiving pressurized air from the air tank or from the air compressor in elevating the height of the vehicle and exhausting pressurized air therefrom through the dehumidifying device to atmosphere in descending the height of the vehicle. There are provided a pressure detector detecting the pressure in the air tank, a height detector detecting the height of the vehicle, and a controlling circuit connected to the pressure detector and the height detector for controlling the operation of the elevating device in accordance with the output signal of the height detector and that of the air compressor in accordance with the output signals of the pressure detector and the height detector.
