Such systems and methods can include using previously collected RF results that are relevant to a target building to calculate predictive RF results for a plurality of test points in the target building, using the predictive RF results to calculate the optimized test path through the target building, measuring a respective actual RF signal value of each of the plurality of test points in succession along the optimized test path, counting failing ones of the plurality of test points, and stopping measurements of the respective actual RF signal value of each of the plurality test points when a counted number of the failing ones of the plurality of test points exceeds a failure threshold value.

Systems and methods for retrieving RF coverage data for a geographic location and using the RF coverage data for the geographic area to alert a user device are provided. In some embodiments, such systems and methods can include receiving a notification of an emergency event at an emergency dispatch location associated with the geographic location, and pushing the RF coverage data for the geographic location to a first user device or directing the first user device to retrieve the RF coverage data for the geographic location. The method comprising receiving a file comprising information associated with one or more contacts; attempting to import the received file on a target device; in response to an import failure: depersonalizing the received file of contact information; identifying a location within one or more contacts the depersonalized file which caused the import failure, wherein the location is stored as metadata; transmitting the depersonalized file and the metadata to a remote server for repair; and receiving a repaired depersonalized file; repairing the received file of contacts based on the repaired depersonalized file; and importing the file of contacts on the target device.

Systems and methods for remote correction of invalid contact file syntax

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to generating and delivering data elements out of the context of an application installation. Each data element generated by an application is transmitted to a collection server after a networked computing device has connected back to a network, and even after the application has been removed from the networked computing device. Each data element is associated with a globally unique transaction identifier. Each data element and its corresponding transaction identifier are packaged together for transmission to the collection server via one or more of a plurality of transmission pathways, including a messaging pathway. The collection server uses the transaction identifier to check whether a corresponding data element is already stored by the collection server. The data element is stored by the collection server, if not already stored.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a device usage controller and methods of limiting device usage in a motor vehicle using audio environment and physical vibration information. The controller incorporates a real time audio feed from a microphone and runs through a pattern matching algorithm to determine the likelihood of the device being in a motor vehicle, such as an automobile, through the detection of environmental noise. The controller also incorporates a second data stream sampled from a motion sensor to determine vibration patterns felt by the device. The second data stream can also be used to determine the likelihood of the device being in a motor vehicle. Either one of the two data streams or the two data streams are combined to control or limit access to the device, automatically trigger assistance or both.

Device usage controller and methods thereof

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a tethering enforcement device controller and methods thereof. The tethering enforcement device controller (TEDC) is installed on a primary device, or otherwise known as the tethered device. The TEDC is configured to detect, control and block unauthorized or inappropriate tethering with a secondary device, or otherwise known as the tethering device, via either a native or a third-party tethering application, by retrieving a configuration file from a server associated with a wireless carrier. The configuration file typically includes customer profile and currently blacklisted package names of third-party tethering applications. The customer profile typically includes subscription information, including use of tethering services. If the customer is trying to tether and tethering is not allowed, then the TEDC will prevent the secondary device from tethering with the primary device. In some embodiments, the TEDC is an untethering application installed on the primary device.
