The present invention provides methods for preventing and treating SARS-CoV-2 infections, COVID-19, or symptoms thereof. The methods of the invention feature the administration of one or more antigen-binding molecules (e.g., antibodies) that bind a surface protein of SARS-CoV-2 (e.g., spike protein).

The present invention provides monoclonal antibodies that bind to the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) spike protein, and methods of use. In various embodiments of the invention, the antibodies are fully human antibodies that bind to MERS-CoV spike protein. In some embodiments, the antibodies of the invention are useful for inhibiting or neutralizing MERS-CoV activity, thus providing a means of treating or preventing MERS infection in humans. In some embodiments, the invention provides for a combination of one or more antibodies that bind to the MERS-CoV spike protein for use in treating MERS infection. In certain embodiments, the one or more antibodies bind to distinct non-competing epitopes comprised in the receptor binding domain of the MERS-CoV spike protein.

The present invention provides fully human antibodies that bind to respiratory syncytial virus F protein, compositions comprising the antibodies and methods of use. The antibodies of the invention are useful for preventing fusion of the virus with the cell membrane and preventing cell to cell spread of the virus, thereby providing a means of preventing the infection, or treating a patient suffering from the infection and ameliorating one or more symptoms or complications associated with the viral infection. The antibodies may also be useful for diagnosis of an infection by RSV.
