An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing, a display of which at least a part is fixed to the second housing so that an information display region, which is a part of the electronic device visible on the outside, increases or decreases according to the sliding of the second housing, and a support member including a bendable structure, supporting at least a part of the display, and moving according to the sliding of the second housing, wherein, the information display region increases if the second housing slides in a first direction at a reference position at which the end of the second housing and the end of the first housing are substantially aligned, and the information display region decreases if the second housing slides in a second direction opposite to the first direction at the reference position.

Electronic device including rollable or slidable display

A portable electronic device may include: a first housing; a second housing disposed to be slidable with respect to the first housing; a flexible display in which a display area of the display is contracted or extended on the basis of slide-in or slide-out driving of the second housing; a motor for generating driving force to slide the second housing; a driving circuit for driving the motor; and a processor(s). The processor(s) may: configure the display area of the flexible display as an activation area for displaying visual information; recognize that a consistency problem occurs in an application execution screen when switching from the slide-out state to the slide-in state on the basis of occurrence of a slide-in trigger for contraction of the activation area while displaying the application execution screen on the activation area in the slide-out state; and provide a user interface to allow extension of the activation area on the basis of the occurrence of the consistency problem.

An example electronic device may include a first housing, a second housing coupled to be slidable from the first housing, a flexible display supported by the first housing and the second housing and having a display area that varies based on the second housing being slid in or slid out. The electronic device may include a stopper assembly disposed in the first housing. The stopper assembly may include a stopper body elastically coupled to at least a portion of the first housing, and a pressing member coupled to the stopper body and configured to come into contact with a protrusion located in the second housing, wherein, in a slide-out state, the stopper body is at least partially disposed in a recess in the second housing by pressure from the pressing member being pressed by the protrusion.

An electronic device may include a first housing, a second housing, a flexible display including a first area and a second area, wherein the first area is exposed for view to the outside of the electronic device in a first state, and when the first state is switched to a second state according to movement of the second housing with respect to the first housing, at least a portion of the second area may be exposed for view to the outside of the electronic device together with the first area, and a processor. An electronic device is provided. Electronic device including display having plurality of states and method for controlling same

A method and apparatus for processing a missed call are provided. In one embodiment, an electronic device checks whether an incoming call received through a communication network is connected. If the incoming call is not connected, the electronic device detects whether the incoming call is terminated. If the incoming call is terminated, the electronic device recognizes this as a missed call and maintains a call notification in the same form as used when the incoming call is received.
