The invention relates to an improved semi-persistent resource allocation for a mobile terminal (MT) for transmitting periodic data. The MT transmits information on the periodic data to the radio base station (BS), such that the BS determines the different possible transmission periodicities and/or the different possible message sizes of the data components of the periodic data. The MT receives from the BS plural semi-persistent resource (SPS) configurations, each being usable to transmit at least one of the supported data components. The MT indicates to the BS the data components that are to be transmitted by the MT. The MT receives from the BS an activation command to activate one or more of the SPS configurations to periodically allocate radio resources for the MT to transmit each of the indicated data components. The MT then transmits the one or more data components based on the radio resources and the transmission periodicity as configured by the activated one or more SPS configurations.

Semi-persistent resource allocation for V2V traffic

Provided are a base station, whereby the erroneous detection of control information can be reduced, thereby preventing the degradation of the system throughput. A base station maps a downstream allocation control information unit, which is addressed to a terminal, to a first resource region, which can be used for any of a downstream control channel region and a downstream data channel region, or to a second resource region, which can be used only for the downstream control channel, so as to transmit the downstream allocation control information unit. In the base station, a control unit establishes a scale of the PDCCH region, and a transmission region establishing unit establishes, on the basis of a scale value established by the control unit, a mapping region to which the DCI is mapped within the R-PDCCH region and the PDCCH region.

The present invention relates to selection of synchronization source among various synchronization sources which include sources determining the synchronization signal from the network such as base stations (network nodes) or user equipments which receive the synchronization signal possibly over other hops from the base station, and which further includes sources which do not determine their synchronization signal from the network. The selection of the synchronization source is performed by choosing the source with the most reliable synchronization signal based on a metric calculated for each of the sources considered. In particular, the metric is based on the type of the source, number of hops between the network and the source and/or received signal quality. After selecting the source, the timing of the device is adapted accordingly.

The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.

Dynamic resource allocation among different OFDM numerology schemes

The invention relates to a transmitting device for performing an initial and one or more retransmissions of data via a sidelink interface. A receiver and processor perform a resource sensing procedure to acquire information about radio resources usable for the device to transmit data at a later point in time. The processor performs an autonomous radio resource allocation to select time-frequency radio resources within a transmission window to be used for performing a first transmission of the data, based on information acquired by the resource sensing procedure. The processor determines a data transmission timing pattern, that indicates a transmission timing for performing one or more transmissions of data. A transmitter performs the first data transmission using the selected time-frequency radio resources and performs the data retransmissions at the transmission timing defined by the determined data transmission timing pattern with respect to the first data transmission.

The invention relates to a method for dynamically indicating a TDD reconfiguration to the mobile station by encoding the dynamic TDD re-configuration indication into the DCI or CRC calculated for the DCI. In one embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is implicitly encoded as an RNTI into the CRC, when scrambling the CRC for the DCI with a TDD-RNTI. In another embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is part of the DCI payload, while the CRC for the DCI is scrambled with a cell identifier, identifying the target cell for which the dynamic TDD re-configuration is to be applied. In still another embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is part of the DCI payload, where the DCI payload further includes an invalid parameter indicating to the mobile station that the DCI carries the TDD configuration indication.

The invention relates to a method for allocating radio resources to a transmitting terminal for performing direct communication transmission over a direct link connection. The transmitting terminal receives a system information broadcast from the base station, which comprises information on a temporary transmission radio resource pool, indicating radio resources for performing a direct communication transmission, and comprises configuration information on the resource pool to limit the amount of time that the temporary radio resource pool is usable by the transmitting terminal.

A user equipment includes a receiver and a transmitter and is configured to report channel state information (CSI) to a base station in a communication system in which a plurality of downlink component carriers and at least one uplink component carrier are configured. The receiver receives, in a slot nTrigger, a trigger message that triggers reporting of the CSI for at least one unlicensed downlink component carrier of the plurality of downlink component carriers. The transmitter transmits, in a slot nReport, the CSI based on reference signals present in a slot nRS on the at least one unlicensed downlink component carrier. The invention relates to a transmitting device, which performs a resource sensing procedure to acquire information about radio resources usable for transmitting data at a later point in time. After data becomes available for transmission, the transmitting device performs an autonomous radio resource allocation to select radio resources within a transmission window to be used for transmitting the data, based on the information acquired by the resource sensing procedure during a sensing window. The autonomous radio resource allocation comprises selecting radio resources in primary subframes of the transmission window preferably over radio resources in secondary subframes of the transmission window. The secondary subframes correspond to those subframes in the sensing window during which the transmitting device did not perform the resource sensing procedure, and the primary subframes correspond to those subframes in the sensing window during which the transmitting device did perform the resource sensing procedure.
