Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to reminder systems and, more particularly, to a contextual item discovery and pattern inculcated reminder mechanism and methods of use. A computer-implemented method includes: determining, by a computing device, an event in which a user will participate; associating, by the computing device, one or more items with the event; determining a location of the one or more items associated with the event including that the user does not possess any combination of the one or more items; and providing an alert to the user that the any of the one or more items associated with the event is not in the possession of the user.

Contextual item discovery and pattern inculcated reminder mechanism

A system and method for providing a text to speech output by receiving user audio data, determining a user region-specific-pronunciation classification according to the audio data, determining text for a response to the user according to the audio data, identifying a portion from the text, where a region specific-pronunciation dictionary includes the portion, and using a phoneme string, from the dictionary selected according to the user region-specific pronunciation classification, for the word in a text to speech output to the user.

Using speech to text data in training text to speech models

A method, system, and computer-usable medium are disclosed for processing a search query that includes context based exclusion criteria. A search query is analyzed as to a subject, topic, noun phrase and query intent. Negative exclusion context and emphasis of the search query are determined with a filter word list to refine the query intent. A knowledge graph is created based on the search query. A set of branches of the knowledge graph is determined from which information is retrieved. Negative intent branches are identified based on the exclusion context and pruning is performed on the negative intent branches from the knowledge graph.

System and method for retrieving results and responses with context based exclusion criteria

Concepts for managing a supervised machine learning model of a set of documents are presented. A system obtains annotated versions of the documents, the documents being annotated by annotators. A conflict between a plurality of annotations of the annotated versions of the documents is identified. The machine learning model includes a set of entities and relations defining relationships between entities. The identified conflict is resolved by at least one of identifying the correct annotation between the conflicting options, splitting the annotated text into two separate entities or relations, generating a new entity at the same or a less specific hierarchical level as the entities or relation in conflict, and/or changing an annotation of the annotated version of the document.

Supervised machine learning models of documents

A method and system that enables cross-border compliance with export restrictions of particular computer technology, including software loaded on a computing device. The computing device is loaded with software, and has a country location device, such as a low-end GPS device. The country location device (country locator) stores the present geographic location of the device in a location register. When the computing device is turned on or the software is activated for operation on the computing device, a security utility of the software compares the value in the register against a list of pre-established locations that are export-restricted. When the value matches (or falls within a range) of one of pre-established locations, the features of the software that are export restricted are automatically disabled.

Intelligent, export/import restriction-compliant portable computer device

A Web browser provides a customized display of phone and fax numbers within a Web page according to user settings. A special phone or fax tag within the Web page file identifies an alphanumeric telephone number within the display (for example, 1-888-IBM-HELP). The telephone number data within the tagged field is converted into a preferred format, as specified at the customization settings page of the Web browser (for example, all numeric 1-888-426-4357). The conversion is preferably displayed upon user indication or activation such as placement of a cursor in proximity to the area occupied by the telephone number within the Web page. A mouse click or keyboard command causes an action within the computer system, as specified within the customization page for the Web browser. For example, by clicking on the telephone number, it is loaded into another software application to connect a telephone call or to send a fax to the telephone number.

Method, system and program product for display management of web page phone/fax numbers by a data processing system

Delivering time sensitive email including creating an email message for time-sensitive delivery to a multiplicity of addressees' mailboxes on email servers, including inserting in the email message a data element identifying the message as a message for time-sensitive delivery; assigning delivery time constraints to the message; delivering the message, in accordance with the time constraints and for temporary storage outside the mailboxes, to email servers having addressees' mailboxes; and instructing the servers to place the message in all addressees' mailboxes at approximately the same time.

A method, apparatus, and computer instructions for securely transferring information in a communications system. Signals are generated by a communications keypad. In response to receiving an input indicating activation of a secure data transfer mode, these signals are converted from the communications keypad into speech signals, and the speech signals are transmitted to a receiving party.
