Conventional delivery of these viscous formulations by hypodermic syringes is inconvenient as well as painful. Formulations include those which have a viscosity of about 5 cS or more at about 20&#xb0; C. and which can have 0.5 ml or more administered by a needle-free injector in about 0.1 second &#xb1;0.02 seconds.
