A sprayer generally includes a tool housing have a wet housing portion that disconnects from a dry housing portion. A solenoid motor is contained in the dry housing portion. An arm member is connected to the dry housing portion. The solenoid motor is operable to move the arm member relative to the dry housing portion. A spray nozzle is connected to a chamber member in the wet housing portion. A piston member extends from the wet housing portion and terminates with a tip portion operable to engage the arm member. A catch member is movably connected to the dry housing portion having an extended condition and a retracted condition. The catch member in the retracted condition is operable to release the wet housing portion from the dry housing portion and disconnect the piston member from the solenoid motor. The catch member in the extended condition is operable to lock the wet housing portion to the dry housing portion and keep the piston member engaged with the arm member.

A sprayer for spraying a fluid can include a sprayer body, a trigger assembly, a flow adjustment mechanism and a fluid reservoir. The sprayer body can include a handle portion and a nozzle portion, the nozzle portion defining a fluid outlet and including a fluid conduit in communication with the fluid outlet. The trigger assembly can be coupled to the nozzle portion and be configured to open the fluid outlet. The flow adjustment mechanism can be coupled to the trigger assembly and be configured to adjust a flow rate of the sprayer. The fluid reservoir can be coupled to the sprayer body and be in communication with the fluid outlet and fluid conduit. The fluid reservoir can include a cap and first and second necks, the first neck being coupled to the sprayer body and the cap being removably coupled to the second neck.

A sprayer that dispenses paint stored in a reservoir body generally includes a housing and a channel member having an outer periphery with a threaded portion and an inner periphery defining an aperture. The channel member extends from the housing. A spray nozzle is connected to the inner periphery in the channel member. A collar member has an inner periphery with a threaded portion that is operable to engage to the threaded portion on the outer periphery of the channel member. A guard member is rotatably engaged with the spray nozzle and movable between an extended condition and a retracted condition. The guard member in the retracted condition is engaged for rotation with the collar member and is operable rotate the threaded portion of the collar member over the threaded portion of the channel member. The guard member in the extended condition is rotatable relative to the collar member.

A sprayer for spraying a fluid can include a sprayer body, a fluid reservoir, a trigger assembly, a flow adjustment mechanism and an air horn assembly. The sprayer body can include a nozzle assembly that defines a fluid outlet and includes a needle arranged within a fluid conduit. The fluid reservoir can be coupled to the sprayer body and be in communication with the fluid outlet and fluid conduit. The trigger assembly can be coupled to the nozzle assembly and be configured to move the needle as the trigger assembly is depressed. The flow adjustment mechanism can be configured to adjust a flow rate of the sprayer. The air horn can include at least one air horn projection that limits rotation of the air horn between a first position corresponding to a vertical spray pattern and a second position corresponding to a horizontal spray pattern.
