A spring restraining clip mounts the axial terminus of a coil spring on the chassis via a spring seat. At least two of three spring restraining members that are circumferentially spaced on the spring restraining clip are the open type of spring restraining member so configured as to clasp and hold coil springs inserted in the axial direction, and one of the spring restraining members is a closed spring restraining member that receives the tip of a coil spring when the coil spring is rotated in the circumferential direction after having been inserted in the open type spring restraining members.

Spring retainer clip

A clip for attaching a mounting component to a base component, and the clip comprises: a pin including a head portion for engaging the mounting component, and a shaft portion which is contiguous to the head portion, and a lock pins which extends downward from the head portion; and a grommet including a flange and a shank contiguous to the flange and partially defining an aperture operable to receive the pin in one of a temporary fitted position and a permanent fitted position; and wherein the temporary fitted position, the lock pin abuts a recessed portion in the grommet for maintaining the temporary fitted position, and wherein in the permanent fitted position, the lock pin collapses on the inside, and is contained on the inside of the shank portion of the grommet.

Clip

A vibration-dampening clamp for clamping long, narrow articles such as pipes includes a pipe clamp member made of hard resin that has pipe clamp portions for restraining the long, narrow articles, a mounting member made of hard resin that has a mounting portion for mounting to the fastened member, and an elastic connection member made of soft resin that is packed between the pipe clamp member and the mounting member. The pipe clamp member and the mounting member do not make direct contact, so that detachment of the pipe clamp member from the mounting member is inhibited. The detachment inhibiting structure incorporates a T-shaped portion that comprises a flat plate portion and a prism portion formed in a mounting member, and an arm portion formed in the pipe clamp member that extends about the periphery of the flat plate portion of the T-shaped portion.

Clamp for elongated member such as pipe

A clip for attaching a second member such as an insulator to a first member such as a car body, includes a first clip component attached to the first member and a second clip component working with the first clip component to support the second member. The first clip component has a flange for contacting the first member, a leg extending from the flange for insertion into a mounting hole in the first member, and a shank extending from the flange in a direction opposite to the leg for engaging the second clip component. The second clip component has a flange for contacting the second member, a tube for receiving the shank, and pawls inside the tube. The end of the shank has a portion for engaging the pawls to clamp the second member between the flanges.

Clip for attaching two members

A clamp device for mounting elongated components such as pipes on a support such as a car body comprises a first clamp to be mounted on the support and a second clamp to be mounted in a recess in the first clamp. The clamp device is constructed to permit limited transverse movement of the second clamp in the recess, to accommodate bending or curving of elongated components held by the second clamp. The first clamp may also hold elongated components.

Clamp device for pipe or similar component

An antivibration clamp comprises a base made of hard resin and an object-holding portion of hard resin supported by the base. The object-holding portion includes a curved wall defining a recess for receiving an elongated object, and a resilient holding finger extending obliquely from the top of the curved wall or its vicinity toward the recess of the curved wall to press against the outer surface of an object received in the curved wall. The curved wall has an inner wall surface on which a plurality of elongated rigid ribs are formed to protrude inward and extend in the width direction of the curved wall with the ribs being spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the curved wall. The inner wall surface and the ribs of the curved wall are coated with an antivibration material made of soft resin.
