An object of the present disclosure is to provide a pneumatic tire for heavy load having improved fuel efficiency and rib tear resistance. Provided is a pneumatic tire for heavy load comprising a tread, wherein the pneumatic tire has a difference in modulus at 200% elongation between a base rubber layer and a cap rubber layer is set within a predetermined range and an acetone extraction amount of the base rubber layer is set within a predetermined range.

Pneumatic tire for heavy load

There is provided a pneumatic tire having improved wet grip performance and fuel efficiency in a good balance. The pneumatic tire is provided with a tread composed of a rubber composition comprising not less than 0.5 part by mass of silica and not less than 5 parts by mass of a resin based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 40 to 100% by mass of a styrene-butadiene rubber and 0 to 60% by mass of a butadiene rubber, wherein an adhesive force of the rubber composition measured by the specified adhesion test method is not less than 300 when an adhesive force of a reference rubber composition wherein the whole amount of resin has been replaced by oil is assumed to be 100, and a ratio of a loss tangent tan &#x3b4;at 0&#xb0; C. of the rubber composition to a loss tangent tan &#x3b4;at 70&#xb0; C. of the rubber composition (tan &#x3b4;/tan &#x3b4;is from 3.0 to 10.

Pneumatic tire

Provided is a rubber composition for tires that provides a balanced improvement of wet grip, abrasion resistance, handling stability, and fuel economy during high-speed running, and further has less performance degradation after long-term service. Also provided is a tire including the rubber composition. Included is a rubber composition for tires containing, based on 100% by mass of a rubber component therein: 3-25% by mass of a component derived from an aromatic vinyl monomer; 0-15% by mass of a component derived from a butadiene monomer and having a vinyl configuration; 1-90% by mass of a component derived from a butadiene monomer and having a cis configuration; and 1-6% by mans of a component derived from an isoprene monomer and having a cis configuration, the rubber composition having, after vulcanization, physical properties satisfying the following relationships (1) and (2):&#x2212;25&#xb0; C.&#x3c;Tg&#x3c;0&#xb0; C.&#x2003;&#x2003;(1); and65&#x3c;Hs&#x3c;75&#x2003;&#x2003;(2).

Tire rubber composition and tire

The present invention provides a cap tread rubber composition and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition which are excellent in grip performance and abrasion resistance during high speed running. Provided is a cap tread rubber composition, containing: styrene butadiene rubber and/or polybutadiene rubber; an isoprene-based rubber; a filler; and a plasticizer, the rubber composition containing, based on 100% by mass of a rubber component therein, at least 90% by mass in total of the styrene butadiene rubber and/or polybutadiene rubber and 0.3% to 10% by mass of the isoprene-based rubber, the filler including, based on 100% by mass thereof, at least 80% by mass of silica, the rubber composition containing, per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, at least 110 parts by mass of the silica and at least 50 parts by mass of the plasticizer.
