A flow deflecting device includes a flow deflecting body configured to be deployed and retracted; a rotational mechanism, whereby the flow deflecting body is rotatable in an engaged state at the rotational mechanism; and a limiting mechanism, whereby rotation of the flow deflecting body is limitable in an engaged state at the limiting mechanism. In a case in which the flow deflecting body in a deployed position is acted upon by a first external force, engagement with the rotational mechanism is released, and the flow deflecting body is rotated in the retraction direction in the engaged state at the limiting mechanism. In a case in which the flow deflecting body in a retracted position is acted upon by a second external force, engagement with the limiting mechanism is released, and the flow deflecting body is rotated in the retraction direction in the engaged state at the rotational mechanism.

Flow deflecting device

At a camera device for a vehicle, a camera images an obverse side of a glass cover via the glass cover. A water repelling film is formed on an obverse side surface of the glass cover. A transparent conductive film of the glass cover generates heat, and the glass cover is heated. Because the transparent conductive film is electrically conductive, electrical resistance of an obverse side surface of the water repelling film can be lowered by the transparent conductive film, and charging of the obverse side surface of the water repelling film can be suppressed.

Camera device

An electronic outer mirror device includes a camera to assist visual recognition by an occupant of a vehicle, a visor configured to house the camera, and a base configured to support the visor such that the visor is capable of moving. The electronic outer mirror device further includes a first tube that is provided on the base side and through which passes a fluid to be ejected onto the camera in order to secure a field of view of the camera. The electronic outer mirror device further includes a second tube that is provided on the visor side such that when the visor is positioned at a predetermined position with respect to the base a base side of the second tube is connected to the first tube so as to enable passage of the fluid from the first tube, and when the visor is positioned at a different position from the predetermined position with respect to the base the base side of the second tube is disconnected from the first tube.

Vehicular visual recognition device

In an imaging device, a heater heats cover glass from an outer circumferential side thereof. Here, a first heating area and a second heating area are provided respectively on a lower side and an upper side of the heater, and a heating density of the first heating area is greater than a heating density of the second heating area. Consequently, when defrosting the cover glass, it is possible to inhibit water droplets from remaining in a central portion of the cover glass and in an upper-side portion thereof above this central portion, and to inhibit water droplets from being present in the central portion of the cover glass.
