Individual selections of businesses by end users to retain information corresponding to the businesses may be facilitated. Collections of business information may be retained in a repository. Each end user may be classified into a set of categories based on attributes. A first end user may be matched to a first category. A first set of collection information associated with a first set of end users that correspond to the first category and the first location may be identified. A recommendation for the first end user may be determined based on the first set of collection information, the first category, and the first location.

Systems and methods for facilitating discovery and management of business information

Techniques for making personalized provider recommendations in related categories include identifying a first entity category from a plurality of entity categories based on context information. A first category relationship is identified from a plurality of category relationships based on the first entity category. The first category relationship indicates that the first entity category and a second entity category are related. A first provider specific profile is identified from a plurality of provider specific profiles based on user profile data associated with a user account. The first provider specific profile is associated with the first entity category. A second provider specific profile associated with the second entity category is identified from the plurality of provider specific profiles based on the user profile data. A plurality of providers including a first provider associated with the first provider specific profile and a second provider associated with the second provider specific profile is displayed.

Systems and methods for implementing a personalized provider recommendation engine

Systems and methods for generating geo-aware auto-suggestions for searching are provided. Characters corresponding to user input for a search query to a searching service may be processed prior to completion of the search query. Information about a geographical location may be processed. A geographical area of interest and potential correction(s) may be identified. Geo-specific suggestions may be determined based on the search query and/or a selected correction. The geo-specific suggestions may correspond to one or more identified businesses located in the geographical area of interest. The determining the geo-specific suggestions may include identifying business listing information corresponding to the geographical area of interest and the search query and/or a selected correction. The geo-specific suggestions may be indicated as a user-selectable option to complete the search query in a search query field for a search engine and/or to submit to the search engine as a selected search query.
