Embodiments herein provide a method for prioritizing disoriented cells in a wireless network by an electronic device. The method includes determining a morphology factor of each disoriented cell of a plurality of disoriented cells. Further, the method includes determining a cell type of each disoriented cell of the plurality of disoriented cells based on the morphology factor of each disoriented cell of the plurality of disoriented cells. Further, the method includes determining a PRB utilization of each disoriented cell of the plurality of disoriented cells. Further, the method includes determining a number of RRC connected users of each disoriented cell of the plurality of disoriented cells. Further, the method includes determining a priority for each disoriented cell of the plurality of disoriented cells based on the morphology factor, the cell type, the PRB utilization, and the RRC connected users.

A method includes receiving inputs that include geo-located data collected over a period for a plurality of cells in a radio access network; mapping the geo-located data to one or more polygons displayed through a GUI on a user interface, the interference polygons being layered above a display of a geo-location; determining a dataset of each cell included in each interference polygon displayed through the GUI; determining a total number of user samples included in each interference polygon; determining a number of user samples for each cell included in each interference polygon; in response to a first cell including less than or equal to a first threshold of the total number of user samples, determining whether the first cell is an over-shooter cell; and in response to the first cell including greater than the first threshold of the total number of user samples, determining whether the first cell is misaligned.

System and method for identification and mitigation of coverage overlap

A method for disoriented cell configuration includes collecting user data of a first set of cells, determining a disoriented cell of the first set of cells based on the user data, and changing a configuration of an antenna of the disoriented cell. An acceptable coverage limit of a base station is identified by retrieving a list of cells that are served by a first base station. Grids are generated from the first base station to a predetermined threshold distance. A plurality of selected grids is identified between an acceptable coverage limit and a threshold distance. An average reference signal is determined from the plurality of selected grids. An evaluation is made regarding whether the first base station is the dominant cell in each of the selected grids. The number of grids the selected grids where the first base station is the dominant cell site is determined based on a dominant carrier threshold. A column of grids is determined where the first base station is not the dominant cell site. An acceptable coverage limit of the cell is determined based on the distance from the first base station and the column of grids.

A method for disoriented cell configuration includes determining a first number of misaligned sectors in a first set of disoriented cells of a first set of cells, generating data of a second set of disoriented cells based on the first set of disoriented cells or the first number of misaligned sectors for in the first set of disoriented cells, determining a first set of cross-feeder cells, a first set of sector swap cells or a first set of cyclic swap cells, and changing a configuration of an antenna of a disoriented cell of the second set of disoriented cells. Changing the configuration of the antenna includes changing a connection of a set of cables of an antenna of a first cross-feeder cell, or changing a deployed azimuth of an antenna of a sector in the first set of sector swap cells or cyclic swap cells.

A booming cell start distance and recommended electronic tilt is identified by retrieving a list of cells served by a first base station. A plurality of grids is generated from the first base station to a predetermined threshold distance. A plurality of selected grids is identified between an acceptable coverage limit and a threshold distance. An evaluation is made regarding whether the first base station is not the dominant cell in each of the selected grids based. The number of grids where the first base station is not the dominant cell site is determined based on a dominant carrier threshold. A column of grids where the first base station is no longer the dominant cell site is determined based on the dominant carrier threshold. A bad booming distance of the cell is determined based on the distance from the first base station and the determined column of grids.

Electronic tilt coverage

A cell range determination is made by determining a sector straddling an azimuth line of a first base station with a center at the coordinates of a first base station. The sector is divided into a plurality of subsectors. A nearest neighbor base station is determined in each of the plurality of subsectors. A set of coordinates is determined for the nearest neighbor base station. An average distance between the nearest neighbor base stations is determined. A bearing angle difference between the nearest neighbor base station and the first base station is determined based on the set of coordinates of the nearest neighbor base station. A gain is determined for each of the plurality of subsectors based on the bearing angle difference. A cell range is determined for the first base station based on the gain.

A booming cell site is identified in a cloud native environment by retrieve an on-air base station from a site database, retrieve a timing advance distribution (TAD) key performance indicator data for a cell site served by the on-air base station from the list, determine a count of configured gaps for the cell site in the timing advance distribution key performance indicator data, determine a count of booming samples that lie beyond the configured count of gaps for the cell site based on the timing advance distribution key performance indicator data, determine a sum of the timing advance distribution key performance indicator data available for the cell site, and determine the percentage of booming cells based on the count of booming samples and the sum of the timing advance distribution key performance indicator.
