A system and a method for recommending feature sets for a plurality of equipment to a user. The method includes creating a library of contextual and preprocessed feature sets in a hierarchical manner for recommending features sets to a user. The method also includes compiling a plurality of hierarchical feature sets with a last feature set in a hierarchy being generated using an output of a module and incrementally adding the generated feature sets using different modules to the feature sets generated by the module. The method includes validating the generated feature sets to remove errors and using the validated feature sets as labelled data for previous feature sets and using attributes to categorize the labelled data corresponding to the contextual and pre-processed feature sets.

System and a method for recommending feature sets for a plurality of equipment to a user

Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and a method for uniformly characterizing equipment category. One or more embodiments of the invention describe the method comprising steps of extracting a plurality of data points from data stream received from a plurality of equipment within an equipment category. The method also comprises steps of normalizing the varying frequency of the extracted data points to generate time normalized information corresponding to each of the plurality of equipment. The method comprises steps of manipulating a plurality of variances in the translated uniform data stream received from each of the plurality of equipment within the equipment category. The energy evaluation system further determines one or more significant variables based on an impact of the plurality of variables on the energy consumption data and category of the plurality of variables. The energy evaluation system identifies a plurality of clusters for the multisite enterprise based on the one or more significant variables, evaluates the plurality of clusters of variables and optimizes the plurality of clusters of the plurality of variables based on the evaluation. A lighting control system for optimizing operation of skylights of distributed sites to facilitate daylight harvesting comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores processor instructions, which causes the processor to identify skylight-linked lighting circuits from a plurality of lighting circuits by analyzing site configuration data, site instrumentation data, and ambient data, and determine interception points configured for each identified skylight-linked lighting circuit to switch from daylight utilization to electric consumption and to switch from electric consumption to daylight utilization. The processor is further caused to derive an optimum logic for the operation of skylight linked lighting circuits based on the interception points and current operating schedule of the skylight linked lighting circuits and optimize the operation of the skylights based on the optimum logic.

A system and method for energy management for multi customer multi time zone distributed facilities are disclosed. In one embodiment, data associated with the energy management of the multi customer distributed facilities located in different time zones is obtained based on associated energy models by a data acquisition/integration layer. Further, the obtained data for energy management of the multi customer distributed facilities is transformed by a data management layer. Furthermore, control commands are generated using the transformed data and associated one or more pre-defined thresholds and set-points by an energy transaction layer. Also, energy of the multi customer distributed facilities is substantially simultaneously managed using the generated control commands by the energy transaction layer.
