A temperature sensor assembly configured to be coupled thermally to a vessel wall for determining a temperature of a surface of the vessel wall is provided, the assembly includes: a first single-branched thermal conduction path, between the surface of the vessel wall and an environment of the temperature sensor assembly, comprising a temperature measurement sensor, configured to be thermally coupled to a first site of the surface of the vessel wall resulting in a first thermal resistance; and a second single-branched thermal conduction path, between a second site of the surface of the vessel wall and an environment of the temperature sensor assembly, comprising a reference temperature sensor, configured to be thermally coupled to the surface of the vessel wall resulting in a second thermal resistance.

Temperature sensor assembly

A temperature-measuring device for determining the temperature of a surface or a medium by utilizing the temperature of the surface enclosing the medium includes at least one measuring sensor and at least one reference sensor as well as a value processing device, which is connected to the measuring sensor via a first connection line and which is connected to the reference sensor via a second connection line, wherein of both connection lines at least the first connection line is partly realized as a mineral-insulated sheathed cable providing the measuring sensor, wherein both connection lines comprise a flexible cable connected to the value processing means.

Temperature-measuring device

An electromagnetic flowmeter for monitoring a flow rate of a fluid includes a conduit and an electromagnetic assembly coupled to the conduit to generate a magnetic field inside the conduit. A ring assembly modifies a velocity profile of fluid arranged on an inner liner wall of the conduit. A position of the ring assembly is adjustable along the inner liner wall to varyingly reform the velocity profile of the fluid. A pair of electrodes mounted to the conduit detects induced voltage generated within the reformed fluid due to the magnetic field. The flow rate of the fluid is determined based on the induced voltage.

The present invention relates to a an electromagnetic flowmeter for measuring flow of fluid flowing in a conduit of the electromagnetic flowmeter, wherein the electromagnetic flowmeter comprises: a coil attached to the conduit and excited by an excitation unit to generate an electromagnetic field to interact with the fluid flowing in the conduit, a shield magnetically coupled with the coil, a pair of electrodes mounted on the conduit for measuring potential difference generated by the interaction of the electromagnetic field in the fluid; and wherein the at least one coil and the at least one shield is provided with an arrangement to displace the at least one of the at least one coil and the at least one shield to adjust the interaction of the electromagnetic field with the fluid.

The present invention provides for a method for operating an electromagnetic flowmeter capable of being mounted on to a surface of a flow pipe for measuring a flow of fluid flowing in the flow pipe. The method comprising: exciting the coil to have electromagnetic interaction with the fluid in the flow pipe resulting in leakage current; providing a current to compensate for the resulting leakage current in the flow pipe by applying a potential difference to electrodes that are attached to a housing of the electromagnetic flowmeter and in contact with the flow pipe; detecting a condition wherein the resulting current flowing is within a threshold range; and determining a measure of flow in the flow pipe based on a value of the applied potential difference.

The present invention relates to a flowmeter for monitoring physical parameters of fluid passing through the flowmeter. The flowmeter being installed in a plant and communicatively connected through a gateway device to a server having a virtual model. The flowmeter comprising: a processing unit for computing a first processed data of a physical parameter associated with the fluid measured by the flowmeter. The flowmeter receives a second processed data from the server having the virtual model, wherein the virtual model provides the second processed data by computing the second processed data based on the first processed data and data from at least one sensor provisioned in the plant. The present invention also provides for a system for monitoring physical parameters of fluid passing through a pipe in a plant with the flowmeter.

The present invention relates to a method of configuring an electromagnetic flowmeter and an electromagnetic flowmeter thereof. The method comprises: obtaining a first correlation factor between flow rate of fluid and potential for a calibrated condition of the electromagnetic flowmeter using a model; obtaining a second correlation factor between flow rate of fluid and potential for conditions of a site in which the electromagnetic flowmeter is installed using the model; comparing the first correlation factor and the second correlation factor to determine a difference in value and adopting the value of the second correlation factor for configuring the electromagnetic flowmeter if the difference in value exceeds a pre-set threshold.

A current carrying system for use in transporting electrical current between a plurality of electrical devices is provided. The current carrying system includes a busbar having a first axial end, a second axial end, an electrically conductive shaft extending from the first axial end to the second axial end, and at least one cooling feature defined in at least a portion of the electrically conductive shaft. The current carrying system also includes a casing that defines a busbar channel configured to receive the busbar such that the casing at least partially circumscribes the busbar. The present disclosure relates to methods for manufacturing porous mesh plates for use in ultrasonic mesh nebulizers, and the porous mesh plates manufactured by those methods. Cone-shaped dimples are first drilled in a substrate (e.g. a plate), but do not penetrate the bottom of the substrate. Next, the substrate (e.g. a plate) is subject to an electrochemical process to remove a layer of material from the surface of the substrate. Enough material is removed to allow the dimples to penetrate the substrate, thereby creating holes in the substrate. The size of the holes can be controlled by the conditions of the electrochemical process.
