A processor may receive, from at least one data collection device, a geographical location with one or more environmental parameters. A processor may simulate a virtual reality environment of the building design in the geographical location interacting with the one or more environmental parameters. A processor may augment the building design to an updated building design. The updated building design may be augmented based on the one or more environmental parameters.

A method, computer system, and a computer program product for robot assistance are provided. A computer identifies a position of a first robot in an environment and a range of movement of an arm of the first robot. The computer generates an alignment plan for moving a first conveyor to be aligned with the first robot so that the first conveyor is engageable with the arm of the first robot within the range of movement of the arm. The first conveyor and the first robot include respective supports that are separate from each other. The computer transmits the alignment plan for execution so that the first conveyor is moved according to the alignment plan.

Provided are techniques for enforcing security rules along a trajectory of data movement. Confidentiality levels of source data and of processed data at different points of an existing trajectory path in an application landscape are identified by analyzing source metadata of the source data and processed metadata of the processed data. One or more trajectory paths that meet security levels that correspond to the confidentiality levels are identified by analyzing microservice generated logs and an application landscape description with reference to the confidentiality levels of the source data and the processed data. A trajectory path is selected from the one or more trajectory paths. A workflow is generated to move the source data and the processed data through the selected trajectory path, and the workflow is executed to move the source data and the processed data through microservices of the selected trajectory path while enforcing the security levels.

Enforcing security rules along a trajectory of data movement

Provided are techniques for performing edge processing by selecting edge devices based on security levels. A security policy is identified for a job to determine a security level for the data. A number of the edge devices that are to be included in a participating group to execute the job is identified. A subset of edge devices that meet the security level are identified by comparing security data of each of the edge devices with the security level. In response to determining that the subset of edge devices includes that number of edge devices, the edge devices from the subset are added to the participating group. The job is executed using the edge devices in the participating group and the one or more cloud nodes, while maintaining the security level in processing the data and in communications across the edge devices and the one or more cloud nodes.

The embodiment may include identifying a workflow among multiple industrial machines within an activity area. Performance of the workflow requires wireless communication among the multiple industrial machines. The embodiment may include identifying communication requirements and communication capabilities of the multiple industrial machines. In response to determining a wireless network is not available within the activity area, the embodiment may include deploying one or more relay computing devices to deployment locations within the activity area based on the workflow, the communication requirements, and the communication capabilities. The embodiment may include instructing the one or more relay computing devices to create a wireless network which enables wireless communication among the multiple industrial machines.

Dynamic positioning of relay devices for machine-to-machine wireless communication

Provided are techniques for enhancing applications based on effectiveness scores. Application functionalities of applications in an application landscape are identified. Application logs for the applications are analyzed to identify how the application functionalities are executing. Groups of application functionalities are formed, where each of the groups includes different application functionalities that perform a similar function. For a group of the groups, an effectiveness score is assigned to each of the different application functionalities in that group. For each application functionality, a corresponding recommendation is identified on how that application functionality is to be modified based on the effectiveness score for that application functionality compared to the effectiveness score of each of the other application functionalities in the group. Each application functionality to be modified is automatically updated based on the corresponding recommendation. The applications in the application landscape are executed.

Enhancing applications based on effectiveness scores

A method generates a fence as a barrier between a user and an area of risk conditions within a designated space. One or more processors recognize an area of risk conditions, based a machine learning model trained by pre-determined indicators of the risk conditions and areas within the designated space. Movement patterns of a user are determined, based on machine learning of video images of the user's movements and behaviors. A risk condition is detected, based on the machine learning training of pre-determined areas and the pre-determined indicators of the risk conditions. Responsive to determining the user within or approaching the area of risk conditions, deploying, by the one or more processors, one or more mobile IoT devices as a fence between the user and the area of risk conditions, and generating a distraction diverting the user away from the area of the risk condition.

Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for audio-visual interaction of a user and implant device to resolve a voice command of the user. The method includes one or more processors determining a health-related issue of a user that corresponds to a voice command of the user. The method further includes identifying an implanted device of the user that relates to the health-related issue. The method further includes collecting sensor data of the implanted device, wherein the sensor data includes one or more conditions of the implanted device and operating environment of the implanted device in the body of the user. The method further includes generating an audio-visual response corresponding to the health-related issue of the user.

The method includes determining one or more environmental conditions adverse to one or more occupants within a structure at least partially enclosing a ventilation system and one or more passageways therein. The method further includes creating, through the ventilation system, at least partially subject to the predicting, one or more evacuation routes including at least a first portion of the one or more passageways comprising reducing, at least partially, the one or more adverse environmental conditions within the one or more evacuation routes.

An external digital crown for a smartwatch can be implemented using a computer. A smartwatch having a display can receive an electronic cue from a digital crown. The electronic cue can related to a tactile event on the digital crown from a user. The digital crown can be positioned contiguously with the watch. The electronic cue can be analyzed to relate the tactile event to a movement of an indicator on the display for a selection on the display, and a selection can be initiated on the display based on the analysis of the electronic cue.

Embodiments of the present invention provides an approach for repairing defects in a structure, located in difficult to reach area, by using a self-guiding and self-melting robotic thread. The approach can use an external guidance system to find the target location of the structure and deploy a robotic thread to the defective area. Portion of the robotic thread contains a filler material can have similar materials to the structure. After the system has determined the size, length and volume of the repair, the system calculates the required length of the robotic thread and guides the thread to the defective area. Once the robotic thread is in place, the filler material begins to melt via heat. The filler material, in a melted and pliable state, can flow into the defect area. Once cooled, the filler material can now support the structure.

A system, program product, and method are provided for leveraging cognitive systems and a digital twin computing system for facility evacuation, and, more specifically, to leveraging a trained cognitive system to automatically facilitate executing an effective evacuation during an emergency through a digital twin of the affected facility structure and digital twins of the evacuees. Digital twins for a structure and each occupant thereof are created through machine learning techniques. Environmental measurements representative of environmental conditions within a structure are collected. The structural digital twin predicts potential environmental conditions adverse to occupants within the structure. Evacuation routes for the occupants are determined and atmosphere pressures within the evacuation routes are modulated, thereby reducing the severity of the adverse environmental conditions within the evacuation routes to facilitate the evacuation of the occupants from the structure.

The display portion comprises a first electromagnet that is configured to produce a second magnetic field. The user-wearable device comprises a locking mechanism attached to the anchor. Separating the anchor from the housing section causes the extendable display to unspool from the roller and extend out of the housing section.
