A thermal electric power generator includes an evaporator, an expander, an electric generator, a condenser, and a pump. A working fluid used in the thermal electric power generator is an organic working fluid. The evaporator includes a heat exchanger, a bypass channel, and a flow rate adjustment mechanism. The bypass channel allows a heat medium to bypass the heat exchanger. The flow rate adjustment mechanism adjusts a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the heat exchanger and a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the bypass channel.

Thermal electric power generator

A gas turbine system (A) includes a gas turbine unit () and a cooling fluid generator (). The gas turbine unit () includes a first compressor () and a first expansion turbine () coupled to each other by a first shaft (), a combustor (), and a fuel tank (). A fuel held in the fuel tank () circulates through a fuel circulation passage (). A working fluid that has a pressure increased by the first compressor () is extracted from the gas turbine unit (). The cooling fluid generator () includes a cooler () for cooling, with the fuel flowing through the fuel circulation passage (), the working fluid that has been extracted from the gas turbine unit (), and a second expansion turbine () for expanding the working fluid that has flowed out of the cooler ().

An exterior heat exchanger is provided with paths P1-P4. The flow rate of the air being blown by an exterior blower to pass through the path P4 closer to a refrigerant outlet of the exterior heat exchanger is set to be higher than that of the air being blown by the exterior blower to pass through the path P1 closer to a refrigerant inlet of the exterior heat exchanger. An air-conditioning controller activates cooling fans during a defrosting mode of operation.

Vehicle air conditioner

A heat pump device includes an air conditioning control device configured to switch the heat pump device among a plurality of operation modes including an air-heating operation mode in which an indoor heat exchanger serves as a radiator and an outdoor heat exchanger serves as a heat absorber, and an air-cooling operation mode in which the indoor heat exchanger serves as a heat absorber and the outdoor heat exchanger serves as a radiator. The air conditioning control device switch a refrigerant pipe such that refrigerant is, in the air-cooling operation mode, supplied to part of the outdoor heat exchanger serving as a refrigerant inlet in the air-heating operation mode.

An exterior heat exchanger is provided with first to fourth paths. The flow rate of the air being blown by an exterior blower to pass through the first path closer to a refrigerant inlet of the exterior heat exchanger is set to be higher than that of the air being blown by the exterior blower to pass through the fourth path closer to a refrigerant outlet of the exterior heat exchanger.

A air conditioning control device is configured to estimate whether or not the temperature of refrigerant on a high-pressure side in a heat pump device is equal to or lower than a predetermined low temperature and to switch a flow path switching device to an air-heating start-up mode when it is estimated that the temperature of refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the heat pump device is equal to or lower than the predetermined low temperature and switch the flow path switching device to a normal air-heating mode when it is estimated that the temperature of refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the heat pump device is higher than the predetermined low temperature.

Air conditioning device for vehicle

A vehicle air conditioner comprising a heat pump device including a compressor that compresses refrigerant, first and second heat exchangers disposed inside the vehicle cabin within an interior air-conditioning unit, and a pressure reducing valve. The vehicle air conditioner further comprises an air-conditioning controller which controls the heat pump device and interior air-conditioning unit, an exterior heat exchanger temperature sensor and a degree-of-heating requested detecting section. If the quantity of heat absorbed by the exterior heat exchanger has decreased, the controller operates the heat pump device to operate in a mode in which a refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows through the first and second heat exchangers, bypasses the exterior heat exchanger, and then is sucked into the compressor, and a second mode in which the refrigerant is flow throughs the first heat exchanger and is bypassed around the second and exterior heat exchanger after pressure has been reduced.

If an exterior heat exchanger is sensed to be frosted while a heat pump device is operating in a first heating operation mode in which two interior heat exchangers are used, the operation modes are switched into a second heating operation mode in which one interior heat exchanger is used, and then switched into a defrosting operation mode.

Vehicle heat pump with defrosting mode

A heat pump deviceis operated so as to make a switch between multiple operation modes including a first dehumidification and heating operation mode in which a refrigerant discharged from a compressor is circulated through a downstream interior heat exchanger, a first pressure reducing valve, an upstream interior heat exchanger, and an exterior heat exchangerin this order so that the heat exchangerfunctions as a radiator and the heat exchangerfunctions as a heat absorber, and a second dehumidification and heating operation mode in which the refrigerant discharged from the compressor is circulated through the downstream interior heat exchanger, a second pressure reducing valve, the exterior heat exchanger, and the upstream interior heat exchangerin this order so that the heat exchangerfunctions as a radiator and the heat exchangerfunctions as a heat absorber.

A combined heat and power system according the present disclosure includes a Rankine cycle apparatus including an evaporator that heats a working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat source medium, an expansion machine that converts expansion power of the working fluid into rotational power, and a condenser that cools the working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat medium, and a thermal circuit for using the heat medium heated by the condenser. An expansion volume ratio of the expansion machine is equal to or less than an expansion ratio in a theoretical Rankine cycle determined based on a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a discharge port of the expansion machine and a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a suction port of the expansion machine.

A permanent magnet synchronous machine includes a rotor including a core body and an overhang protruding further in an axial direction than a core of a stator. An end surface of the core body includes an N-region disposed on a north pole and an S-region disposed on a south pole. The overhang includes first permanent magnets arranged along an outer edge of the end surface with distances therebetween and a plurality of second permanent magnets disposed on the end surface and adjacent to the first permanent magnets. The first permanent magnets include at least one of a permanent magnet comprising a north pole facing the N-region and a permanent magnet comprising a south pole facing the S-region. The second permanent magnets are provided in the configuration which causes the second permanent magnets to generate a magnetic flux extending from the S-region toward the N-region.

Permanent magnet synchronous machine

A Rankine cycle device in the present disclosure includes an evaporator as a heater, an expander, a cooler, a first temperature sensor, a second temperature sensor, and a control device. The first temperature sensor detects a temperature of the working fluid flowing from an outlet of the heater to an inlet of the expander in the circuit of the working fluid. The second temperature sensor detects a temperature of the working fluid flowing from an outlet of the expander to an inlet of the cooler. The controller controls a number of rotation of the expander based on a difference between a detected temperature of the first temperature sensor and a detected temperature of the second temperature sensor.

Rankine cycle device

A heat generating component () is mounted on one surface of a circuit board (). A heat release member () is disposed between the one surface and an opposite wall () of a housing (). The heat release member () has a plate () that extends in a specified direction and is in contact with the heat generating component (), and fins () that project from the plate () toward the opposite wall (). In a region of the opposite wall () of the housing overlapping with the heat release member (), an air inlet () is provided so as to extend in the specified direction. The heat release member () is, at both end portions thereof in the specified direction, in contact with the opposite wall () via heat-conductive spacers (), and a gap () is formed between the fins () and the opposite wall ().
