A roof-type air conditioner is provided in which condensate water generated during interior cooling by an air conditioning unit is collected in a collecting unit to prevent the condensate water from flowing into an interior space of a vehicle. Due to accumulation of the condensate water, the condensate water collected by the collecting unit is discharged to the outside of the vehicle to prevent overflow and contamination of condensate water.

Proposed are an air conditioner having an integrated heat exchanger and an air conditioning system using the integrated heat exchanger. The integrated heat exchanger enables heat exchange between cooling water and conditioning-air, and generates heating air or cooling air such that cooling/heating efficiency is improved. Further, since the temperature of the cooling water circulating in the integrated heat exchanger is adjusted, there is no temperature adjustment door for adjusting the temperature of conditioning-air, so the number of parts is reduced. The method includes detecting a cooling mode while the vehicle is being driven and comparing a vent discharge temperature of air with a cooling target temperature set by a user. When the vent discharge temperature is greater than the cooling target temperature the compressor RPM is determined and air is introduced into the vehicle without passing through the interior heat exchanger and the electric heater. A dual type air conditioning control system of a vehicle has a front-seat air conditioner for air-conditioning of a front-seat space and a rear-seat air conditioner for air-conditioning of a rear-seat space of the vehicle. The system includes a front-seat controller configured to control an operation and an output of the front-seat air conditioner, and to calculate a control target value for controlling an output of the rear-seat conditioner. The rear-seat controller is configured to receive the calculated control target value transmitted from the front-seat controller and to control the output of the rear-seat air conditioner based on the transmitted control target value.
