A method and system for statistically multiplexing corresponding channels using an orthogonal code hopping in a wire/wireless communication system, including a first communication station and multiple second communication stations, in which multiple synchronized communication channels coexist through one media. The system includes an orthogonal code hopping pattern generator, a spreader for selecting a corresponding orthogonal code symbol in the orthogonal code, a collision comparator and controller for monitoring whether the orthogonal code symbols collide and for determining whether the send data symbols to the second communication stations coincide in the collision area, a unit for stopping transmission in case of collision of the hopping patterns and discordance of the transmission data symbols, and a transmission power controller for compensating an average receiving energy loss.

Method and apparatus for orthogonal code hopping multiplexing communications

The present invention is related to a method and an apparatus for the orthogonal complex-domain spreading modulation in CDMA spread spectrum communication system when there are channels with statistically higher transmitting power. In CDMA spread spectrum communication systems with a transmitter and a receiver, the transmitter according to the invention has several channels with different information. Two channels with higher power than the others, which are spread in the conventional scheme, are spread with the orthogonal codes using a complex-domain multiplier. The spread signals are added. Then the signals are scrambled using a complex-domain multiplier with secondary scrambling sequences generated by a special scrambling code generator with primary scrambling sequences as inputs. The receiver does reverse operation of the transmitter.

Transmission and receiving using spreading modulation for spread spectrum communications and thereof apparatus

The present invention is related to a statistical multiplexing method and apparatus using a multi-dimensional orthogonal resource hopping multiplexing method in a wired/wireless communication systems where a plurality of communication channels, which are synchronized through a single medium, coexist. The present invention, in order to implement a generalized statistical multiplexing communication system using a multi-dimensional orthogonal resource hopping multiplexing method, comprises a multi-dimensional hopping pattern generator which is located in the primary communication station, a data symbol modulator that modulates data symbols based on the corresponding orthogonal resource hopping pattern generated by said multi-dimensional hopping pattern generator, a collision detector and controller that detects whether a collision occurs or not between the multi-dimensional hopping patterns and compares the consistency of the data symbols toward the secondary communication stations between said collision interval, a transmission power controller that controls the transmission power of the remaining parts excluding the parts where the multi-dimensional hopping patterns collide and the transmission is stopped due to transmitting data symbol inconsistency and compensates for the loss in the average reception energy due to a transmission stoppage.
