An embodiment cooling system for in-wheel motor vehicles includes first coolant flow paths provided in in-wheel motors mounted in wheels of a vehicle, second coolant flow paths provided in inverters configured to drive and control the in-wheel motors, a radiator configured to pass therethrough a coolant having cooled the inverters and the in-wheel motors to dissipate heat from the coolant, a coolant circulation line connecting the first and second coolant flow paths and the radiator, wherein a portion of the coolant circulation line located at upstream sides of the inverters based on a coolant circulation path is branched off into secondary coolant circulation lines respectively connected to the inverters, and water pumps disposed on the coolant circulation line and configured to pump the coolant, wherein the coolant pumped by the water pumps is distributed and passes through the inverters in parallel by way of the secondary coolant circulation lines.

Disclosed is a heat pump system for a vehicle, providing for selective heat-exchanging heat energy generated from a coolant with a coolant upon condensing and evaporation of the coolant to control an internal temperature of the vehicle using the heat-exchanged coolant of a low temperature or a high temperature. The heat pump system adjusts a temperature of a battery module by using one chiller that performs heat exchange between a refrigerant and a coolant and improves the heating efficiency of the vehicle using a waste heat of an electrical component and a battery module.

A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a cooling device which includes a radiator, electrical components, and at least one water pump which are connected through a coolant line, to circulate a coolant through the coolant line to supply the coolant to the electrical components and an oil cooler which is mounted on the coolant line and connected to a drive motor to cool the drive motor; and an HVAC module which has a heater connected to the coolant line through first and second connection lines to supply the coolant with a temperature which is increased as the coolant passes through the electrical components and the oil cooler in a heating mode of a vehicle.

A battery cooling system may include a first cooling device including a first radiator and a first water pump connected through a first coolant line and circulating a coolant in the first coolant line to cool at least one electrical component and at least one motor; a second cooling device including a second radiator and a second water pump connected through a second coolant line and circulating the coolant in the second coolant line; a battery module mounted on a battery coolant line selectively connectable to the second coolant line through a valve; and a chiller mounted on the battery coolant line and through which the coolant passes, connected to a refrigerant line of an air conditioning device through a refrigerant connection line, and making the coolant which selectively flows exchange heat with a refrigerant supplied from the air conditioning device to control a temperature of the coolant.

Battery cooling system for vehicle

A cooling apparatus for a vehicle includes a cooling module connected to the cooling apparatus through a cooling line to cool a driving system. The cooling module includes, according to the amount of heat transfer and operation temperature, an aircon condenser disposed behind of a radiator grill. A radiator for an electromotive device is disposed in parallel under the aircon condenser behind of a bumper hole through which a large amount of outside air is introduced. A radiator for a stack is disposed behind of the aircon condenser, and a radiator for an electromotive device is disposed in parallel. A cooling fan is disposed behind of the radiator for a stack. The cooling apparatus includes an air guide unit mounted in front of the aircon condenser and the radiator for an electromotive device, the air guide unit preventing the bypassing of outside air introduced during operation of a vehicle while distributing and introducing the outside air. Accordingly, to improve the cooling performance of the cooling module, the aircon condenser and the radiator for an electromotive device are configured in parallel, and the radiator for a stack is disposed behind, according to the amount of heat transfer and operation temperature, so that outside air introduced from the outside of the vehicle is efficiently distributed and supplied and is then cooled, thus improving cooling efficiency and ensuring the cooling performance.
