Provided is a control method of a server providing information on an optimum AP. The control method of a server includes: acquiring wireless communication connection information of at least one user terminal and location information of the at least one user terminal, from each of the at least one user terminal; when a request for an access point (AP) search is received from a first user terminal, determining at least one optimum AP which can connect with the first user terminal, on the basis of the acquired wireless communication connection information and location information; and transmitting information on the determined optimum AP to the first user terminal.

A method and apparatus for handover based on a dynamic beamforming scheme, which is adapted to a mobile communication system including a mobile node and a base station, is provided. An apparatus and method for testing a ubiquitous service or a ubiquitous device using a uniform object model are provided. Because a virtual ubiquitous environment is constructed with devices, services, users, layouts, and the like, physical construction of the ubiquitous environment to test services or devices is not needed. Therefore, the effectiveness of the ubiquitous device or service can be confirmed without requiring a ubiquitous environment to be physically constructed. Method and apparatus for testing ubiquitous service or device using uniform object model

A system and method for saving sensor power consumption based on context information on a wireless sensor network are provided. Basic context information is received from inside and outside of a network system including at least one sensor, wherein context information based on the basic context information is determined by inference, a group of expected services corresponding to the context information is determined, a sensor operation mode according to the group of expected services is determined, and control data is transmitted to the sensor according to the sensor operation mode. Accordingly, a sensor operation mode is adaptively determined according to changes of context information so that power consumption of a sensor can be saved.

A data aggregation method and data aggregation apparatus are provided. More particularly the data aggregation method includes: generating a plurality of data aggregation trees according to connection relationships between clusters that constitute a sensor network using a geographical code (GGC), selecting a single activation zone for each of the clusters which configures each of the plurality of data aggregation trees, selecting a maximum energy tree having a maximum total residual energy from the plurality of data aggregation trees, based on the single activation zone, and generating a tree list including activation zone information which corresponds to the maximum energy tree, and information about the maximum energy tree.
