A display device and a method of driving a display device are disclosed. The display device includes pixels respectively connected to corresponding scan lines, corresponding control lines, corresponding data lines, and corresponding sensing lines, a scan driver which supplies a scan signal to a scan line of the corresponding scan lines, and supplies a control signal to a control line of the corresponding control lines, a data driver which supplies one of an image data signal and a sensing data signal to a data line of the corresponding data lines, and a sensing driver which senses characteristics of driving transistors of different pixels of the pixels in a previous sensing period and a current sensing period, and determines a final sensing value of a target pixel of the pixels in the current sensing period, based on a difference between a previous sensing value of the target pixel, which is determined based on the sensing in the previous sensing period, and a preliminary sensing value of the target pixel, which is calculated based on the sensing in the current sensing period.

Display device and method of driving the same

A display device includes first pixels partitioned into a plurality of blocks, each of the plurality of blocks being categorized as a first block or a second block, a sensor configured to generate first sensing data for at least two of the first pixels in each of the plurality of blocks during a first period, and a sensing controller configured to generate interpolated data for the first pixels that are not sensed by the sensor by interpolating the first sensing data, for the first block, and configured to forgo interpolation of the first sensing data, for the second block. The sensor generates second sensing data for the first pixels that are not sensed by the sensor, for the second block, during a second period after the first period.

There are provided a display device and a method of compensating for degradation thereof. The display device includes a display panel including pixels, a sensing unit configured to measure threshold voltages of the pixels, respectively, and a timing controller configured to determine grayscale compensation values with respect to the pixels corresponding to the threshold voltages, respectively, and to compensate input image data with respect to the pixels based on the grayscale compensation values, respectively, wherein the grayscale compensation values have a linear relationship with a grayscale of the input image data by using a linear slope value determined based on the threshold voltages.

A display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a power supply configured to generate a gamma power voltage based on a power control signal; a gamma voltage generator configured to generate gamma voltages based on the gamma power voltage and a gamma control signal; a data driver configured to generate a data signal corresponding to a grayscale value included in image data using the gamma voltages and to provide the data signal to the pixels; and a power controller configured to adjust the power control signal and the gamma control signal based on a maximum voltage level of the data signal, wherein a voltage level of the gamma power voltage is proportional to the maximum voltage level of the data signal.

Display device and driving method thereof

An organic light-emitting display device may include a first pixel, a first data line, a first scan line, a data driver, and a scan driver. The first pixel unit may include a sensing transistor and a scan transistor. The data driver may be electrically connected to the scan transistor through the first data line. The scan driver may be electrically connected to the scan transistor through the first scan line. The scan transistor may be turned on during a first period and a second period. The sensing transistor may be turned on during a third period between the first period and the second period. The first period, the second period, and the third period are included in one frame.

Organic light-emitting display device and related driving method

An organic light-emitting display device, including a display unit including a plurality of pixels each having an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), a controller configured to accumulate image data of each frame and to generate compensated image data using a degradation compensation method determined, based on the accumulated image data, to compensate for the degradation of the OLED of each of the pixels, and a data driver configured to generate a data voltage according to the compensated image data and to provide the data voltage to the pixels.
