The present invention relates to a bookmark setting method of an e-book, an apparatus thereof, and a medium storing program source thereof. The bookmark setting method includes: recognizing a user's operation performed on a touch screen while displaying the e-book; determining whether the recognized user's operation is an operation of folding a currently displayed subject page; and when the recognized user's operation is an operation of folding the subject page, setting the bookmark on the subject page according to predetermined criteria which in turn provides a realistic bookmarking experience as in the paper book.

According to an example embodiment of the present invention, a photoresist pattern is formed on a base substrate including a neutral layer. A sacrifice structure including a first sacrifice block and a second sacrifice block is formed on the base substrate having the photoresist pattern, and the sacrifice structure is formed from a first thin film including a first block copolymer. Thus, a chemical pattern is formed to form a nano-structure. Therefore, the nano-structure may be easily formed on a substrate having a large size by using a block copolymer, and productivity and manufacturing reliability may be improved.

Provided are a method of preparing a nanowire grid polarizer, and a nanowire grid polarizer prepared using the same. The method includes: mixing a surfactant and a silica precursor to prepare a mesoporous film composition; coating the mesoporous film composition on a substrate; aging the coated product to form a silica template composite; removing the surfactant inside the silica template composite to prepare a mesoporous material having channels; and filling the channels of the mesoporous material with metal. The method is suitable for the formation of a nanowire having a stable structure, mass production, and large-area production.

Provided is a method of nano-patterning block copolymers and a method of manufacturing a polarizer using the same. The method of nano-patterning block copolymers includes coating block copolymers on a lower substrate to a predetermined thickness, forming a thickness gradient by patterning the block copolymers to have a predetermined aspect ratio, and aligning self-assembled block copolymers in a direction of the thickness gradient by heat-treating the block copolymers having the thickness gradient.

A light guide plate having a multi-periodic micro pattern, which can minimize chromatic dispersion, and an illumination apparatus for a display device employing the light guide plate are provided. The light guide plate includes a top surface and a micro pattern formed on the top surface and allowing light, which is incident from a first side surface of the light guide plate, to be emitted from the top surface. The micro pattern is a combination of at least two periodic patterns having different periods to reduce chromatic dispersion of light emitted from the top surface.

An electronic device manufactured according to the principles of the invention may include multiple conductive layers that cross but do not contact each other, wherein at least one of the conductive layers includes a width change part having a width that changes in a length direction of the at least one of the conductive layers, and a tab connected to at least one of the conductive layers at a region thereof that does not cross a neighboring conductive layer. Alternatively, the width change part may have a width that continuously varies along a length of the at least one conductive layer and may also have obtuse corner edges. The invention also provides a flat organic electroluminescent display (OELD) or LCD display device that includes such an electronic device.
