The present invention discloses a current balancing device and method capable of balancing an output current and an input current of a current loop. Said device comprises: a transmission circuit for outputting an output current and receiving an input current; at least one adjustable resistor set in the current loop for providing resistance according to at least one adjustment signal; and a current balancing circuit, coupled to the transmission circuit and the adjustable resistor, for determining whether the difference between the output and input currents satisfies a predetermined requirement in light of a predetermined duration and thereby generating the adjustment signal, wherein if the difference between the output and input currents fails to satisfy the predetermined requirement, the current balancing circuit will adjust the resistance of the adjustable resistor through the adjustment signal, so as to reduce the difference between the output and input currents.

Current balancing device and method

A communication apparatus and an associated estimation method are provided. The communication apparatus is electrically connected to a loading terminal and operates at a common bias voltage. The communication apparatus includes a transmitter, a connector, and a receiver. The connector includes a bridging circuit and a measurement circuit. The bridging circuit has a positive measurement end and a negative measurement end. The transmitter transmits an analog output signal. The receiver receives a common bias voltage during an estimation process. During the estimation process, the measurement circuit estimates a positive loading resistance and a negative loading resistance corresponding to the loading terminal according to a voltage difference between the common bias voltage and voltage at one of the positive measurement end and the negative measurement end.

Communication apparatus and associated estimation method

A transceiving circuit resistance calibrating method, which is applied to a transceiving circuit. The method includes: inputting a first current to a transmitter to generate a first output voltage, wherein the first current is generated according to a ratio between a predetermined voltage and an inner resistor of a chip; inputting a second current to a transmitter to generate a second output voltage, wherein the first current is generated according to a ratio between the predetermined voltage and a predetermined resistor; and adjusting a first adjustable resistance module according to a difference between the first output voltage and the second output voltage.

Transceiving circuit and transceiving circuit resistance calibration method

A line driver includes an output terminal set for outputting an output signal, a differential amplifier for amplifying an input signal, a series resistor set coupled between the differential amplifier and the output terminal set, a negative-feedback resistor set coupled to the differential amplifier, a feedback variable resistor set coupled between the differential amplifier and the output terminal set, and an adjusting unit coupled to the feedback variable resistor set. The adjusting unit is operable to adjust resistances of the feedback variable resistor set according to the output signal.

Line driver capable of automatic adjustment of output impedance

A line driver includes: a differential amplifier for amplifying an input signal to generate an output signal; first and second series resistors coupled respectively to output terminals of the differential amplifier and through which the output signal is output; first and second negative-feedback resistors each coupled between a respective input terminal and a respective output terminal of the differential amplifier; first and second positive-feedback variable resistors each coupled between a respective input terminal of the differential amplifier and a respective one of the first and second series resistors; and an adjusting unit coupled to the first and second positive-feedback variable resistors to adjust a resistance thereof with reference to the output signal.
