A continuous preparation system of a conjugated diene-based polymer having improved rolling resistance properties is provided. By utilizing the continuous preparation system a polymerization conversion ratio at an initial stage of polymerization is easy to control, long time operation is possible and productivity is excellent.

A catalyst composition capable of forming a conjugated diene-based polymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution by being used in polymerization of a conjugated diene-based monomer, a method of preparing the same, a method of preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer using the catalyst composition, and a conjugated diene-based polymer prepared by the method of preparing the polymer are provided. Since the catalyst composition according to the present invention includes a polymer having a number-average molecular weight of 3,000 g/mol to 10,000 g/mol and including a conjugated diene-based monomer-derived unit, the catalyst composition may be used in the polymerization of a conjugated diene-based monomer to prepare a conjugated diene-based polymer having a narrower molecular weight distribution in comparison to a conventional neodymium catalyst composition.

A method for preparing a catalyst for use in polymerizing a conjugated diene-based monomer, the catalyst, and a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer using the same are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a method of preparing a catalyst comprises mixing a lanthanide rare earth element-containing compound, an alkylating agent compound and a halogen compound in the presence of a solvent to prepare a catalyst composition, adding a conjugated diene-based monomer to the catalyst composition to form a preformed catalyst composition, and aging the preformed catalyst composition at a temperature of &#x2212;1&#xb0; C. to &#x2212;15&#xb0; C. for 3 hours to 98 hours to prepare the catalyst. The catalyst has excellent catalyst activity and polymerization reactivity and is useful for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer which has an excellent modification ratio and improved compounding properties.

A conjugated diene-based polymer catalyzed with a lanthanide rare earth element, and having high linearity and improved compounding properties, and a method for preparing the same are provided. The conjugated diene-based polymer catalyzed with a lanthanide rare earth element has high linearity, and if applied to a rubber composition, may show excellent processability, tensile strength and viscoelasticity.
