Disclosed are a method and a device for sidelink groupcast communication. A method for operating a transmitting terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting an SS/PBCH block for sidelink communication in all directions by using a beam sweeping method; receiving, from a plurality of receiving terminals, first feedback information about the SS/PBCH block; and transmitting a sidelink channel in a specific direction by using beams of the transmitting terminal that are determined on the basis of the first feedback information. Therefore, communication system performance can be improved.

Method and device for sidelink groupcast communication

An operation method of a first terminal in a communication system is provided. The method includes configuring sidelink (SL) bandwidth parts (BWPs) used for groupcast sidelink communication and transmitting a configuration information message including configuration information of the SL BWPs to participating terminals participating in the groupcast sidelink communication. The groupcast sidelink communication is performed with the participating terminals using one or more SL BWPs among the SL BWPs. In response to determining that reconfiguration of the SL BWPs is necessary, the SL BWPs are reconfigured and a reconfiguration information message including reconfiguration information of the SL BWPs is transmitted to the participating terminals.

Method and apparatus for reconfiguring bandwidth part for groupcast in sidelink communication

Disclosed are a method and a device for managing a beam in sidelink communication. An operation method of a first terminal comprises: a step for transmitting a first sidelink signal in all directions using a beam sweeping method in an initial beam management section; a step for receiving, from a second terminal, first feedback information for the first sidelink signal; a step for setting a first beam pair between the first terminal and the second terminal on the basis of the first feedback information; a step for performing sidelink communication with the second terminal using the first beam pair; and a step for, when it is necessary to reset the first beam pair, transmitting the second sidelink signal in a specific direction instead of all the directions using the beam sweeping method in a partial beam management section. Therefore, the performance of a communication system can be improved.

Method and device for managing beam in sidelink communication

An operation method of a first UE in a communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting to a second UE a an SL-SSB in an omni-directional scheme and transmitting the SL-SSB in a beamforming scheme when a response message for the SL-SSB transmitted in the omni-directional scheme is not received from the second UE. Additionally, sidelink communication with the second UE according to the beamforming scheme when a response message for the SL-SSB transmitted in the beamforming scheme is received from the second UE.

The sidelink communication is performed with the second terminal using one or more SL BWPs indicated by the configuration information and in response to determining that reconfiguration of the one or more SL BWPs is necessary, a reconfiguration request message is transmitted to the base station.

An operation method of a PM participating in platooning in a communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a PL participating in the platooning, information regarding beam configuration between the PL and a base station and determining a beam reception range based on a first receiving direction of the PL. The first receiving direction is indicated by the information regarding beam configuration. The method further includes measuring a signal quality of a first transmission beam of the base station by changing a receiving direction of the PM within the beam reception range and determining a receiving direction in which the first transmission beam has a best signal quality as a final receiving direction.

A sidelink communication method performed by a first user equipment (UE) in a communication system includes steps of: generating sidelink control information (SCI) including first resource allocation information for sidelink groupcast data and second resource allocation information for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) response for the sidelink groupcast data; transmitting the SCI to a plurality of UEs participating in sidelink communication; transmitting the sidelink groupcast data to the plurality of UEs using resources indicated by the first resource allocation information; and receiving the HARQ response for the sidelink group data from one or more UEs among the plurality of UEs using resources indicated by the second resource allocation information.
