An inductor assembly includes a base and an inductor component. When the inductor component is disposed on the base, the distance between the inductor component and a nearby electronic component is increased by a connecting element or a carrying element of the base, and the inductor component is prevented from contacting the nearby electronic component by a spacing element of the base.

Inductor assembly

A surface mount magnetic device includes a magnetic core assembly, a winding coil and an extension region. The magnetic core assembly includes a first magnetic part and a second magnetic part. The second magnetic part has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface of the second magnetic part is connected to second magnetic part such that a receptacle is formed between the first magnetic part and the second magnetic part. The winding coil is partially accommodated within the receptacle and includes at least two pins, wherein the pins are attached on the second surface of the second magnetic part. The extension region is integrally formed on the second surface of the second magnetic part.

Core

A magnetic element includes a magnetic core assembly and multiple winding coils. The magnetic core assembly is used for proving a closed magnetic flux path and includes a first side plate, a second side plate, a first side pillar, a second side pillar and at least two middle pillars. The first and second side pillars are arranged between the first and second side plates and respectively disposed on bilateral edges of the first and second side plates. The at least two middle pillars are arranged between the first and second side pillars and includes a first middle pillar and a second middle pillar. The winding coils are wound around the at least two middle pillars.

Magnetic element and magnetic core assembly having reduced winding loss

A transformer includes a magnetic core assembly, a circuit board, a plurality of pins and at least an interface layer. The magnetic core assembly includes a first magnetic part and a second magnetic part. The circuit board is arranged between the first magnetic part and the second magnetic part, and has a winding coil patterns including a primary winding coil and at least a secondary winding coil. The pins have first ends mounted onto the circuit board. The interface layer is arranged between the first magnetic part and the circuit board and/or between the second magnetic part and the circuit board such that the circuit board lies flat on the interface layer and is secured to the first magnetic part or the second magnetic part via the interface layer.
