Disclosed is a rollable display apparatus including: a flexible display panel that includes a pixel array; a roller part having a surface for winding the display panel; a first housing receiving the roller part and having a first opening through which a portion of the display panel passes; a rotational controller coupled between the roller part and the first housing, the rotational controller configured to: in a first state, enable the roller part to rotate in a first direction to unwind the display panel from the roller part but prevent rotation of the roller part in a second direction opposite the first direction, in a second state, enable the roller part to rotate in the second direction to wind the display panel onto the roller part, and switch from the first state to the second state responsive to receiving a triggering operation from a user.

A foldable display apparatus including a display panel configured to include a display area including a first display area, a second display area, and a bending area, a first panel supporting member configured to support a first area of the display panel corresponding to the first display area, a second panel supporting member configured to support a second area of the display panel corresponding to the second display area, and a folding part connected between the first and second panel supporting members to overlap the bending area and configured to guide the display panel for the display panel to be folded or unfolded to a plane state with respect to the bending area. Foldable display apparatus

Embodiments relate to a hinge assembly in a foldable display device that provides support for a bending portion of a flexible display panel when the foldable display device in an unfolded state. The hinge assembly includes a bending portion support assembly and a sliding member that is slidable relative to the bending portion support assembly as the foldable display device is folded or unfolded. The hinge assembly also includes a surface that abuts the bending portion of the flexible display panel that defines the curvature of the flexible display panel when the foldable display device is rotated from the unfolded state.

Disclosed is a foldable display apparatus which can stably maintain a bending curvature of a folded flexible display, and can maintain a bending area of an unfolded flexible display in a plane state. The foldable display apparatus includes a link assembly connected between first and second housings to support a bending area of a display panel, and configured to guide bending of the bending area. The link assembly includes a plurality of bending guide members configured to support the bending area, a plurality of link parts connected to both ends of each of the plurality of bending guide members, and a plurality of link connecting members respectively provided between the plurality of link parts, and configured to connect two adjacent link parts.

The foldable display apparatus includes a display panel folded or unfolded with respect to a bending display area, a first housing configured to support a first area of the display panel, a second housing physically coupled to a second area of the display panel, a link assembly connected between the first and second housings, and configured to support a bending display area of the display panel which is folded or unfolded, and a sliding assembly configured to slide the first area or second area of the display panel according to bending of the link assembly.
