The invention relates to novel benzopyran derivatives of formula I, to their method of production, to composition comprising the derivatives and use thereof. wherein:R, R, Rand Rare independently hydrogen, halogen, C-alkyl, C-cycloalkyl, hydroxy, C-alkoxy, C-alkoxy-C-alkyl, nitro, amino, cyano, cyanomethyl, perhalomethyl, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylamino, sulfamoyl, C-alkylthio, C-alkylsulfonyl, C-alkylsulfinyl, formyl, C-alkylcarbonylamino, Rarylthio, Rarylsulfinyl, Rarylsulfonyl, C-alkoxycarbonyl, C-alkoxycarbonyl-C-alkyl, carbamoyl, carbamoylmethyl, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylaminocarbonyl, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylaminothiocarbonyl, ureido, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylaminocarbonylamino, thioureido, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylaminothiocarbonylamino, C-monoalkyl- or dialkylaminosulfonyl, carboxy, carboxy-C-alkyl, acyl, Raryl, Raryl-C-alkyl, Raryloxy;Rand Rare each independently hydrogen, C-alkyl or, Rand Rtaken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a 3- to 6-membered carbocyclic ring;Ris 2-, 3- or 4-pyridyl optionally mono- or polysubstituted by R;Ris 2- or 3-thienyl optionally mono- or polysubstituted substituted by RorRis phenyl optionally mono- or polysubstituted by Rwith the exception of or Rrepresenting CH;Ris hydrogen, halogen, C-alkyl, C-cycloalkyl, hydroxy, C-alkoxy, nitro, amino, cyano, cyanomethyl, perhalomethyl;or a salt thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base, or any optical isomer or mixture of optical isomers, including a racemic mixture or any polymorphic and tautomeric form.
