A bearing unit having a sealed single-row deep-groove ball bearing. The sealed single-row deep-groove ball bearing includes an outer race ring with a sphered outer envelope surface, a housing with a sphered bore for accommodating the bearing, an inner race ring with a taper bore, and a correspondingly tapered clamping sleeve provided in the bore of the inner race ring and having a flange provided on at least one side of the bearing. The flange has at least one bore, and at least one tightening device for causing a force on the bearing inner race ring for displacing the inner race ring along the clamping sleeve thereby causing a clamping effect between the inner race ring and the sleeve and between the sleeve and a shaft on which the bearing unit is mounted. The bore of the flange includes a threaded through-bore extending at an acute angle with respect to an axial direction of an inner envelope surface of the sleeve. The tightening device includes a set screw arranged to contact a side face of the inner race ring.

Bearing housing

A bearing housing (3) supports a bearing (2) for a shaft (1). The bearing is mounted on the shaft with a clamping sleeve (4) on which are provided two flanges (5, 6) on opposite sides of the bearing. The flanges form part of mounting and dismounting means for the bearing. Sealing members (12, 13) are provided between the flanges (5, 6) and the housing (3) radially outside the flanges. Means (7) are provided for displacement of the bearing (2) axially on the clamping sleeve (4) when mounting and dismounting the bearing. One of the sealing members (12) is arranged to axially bridge a slot (10) between the flange (5) and a washer (8) associated with the bearing (2).

Device for mounting a bearing on a shaft member or the like

A device for elastic interconnection of two rotatable shafts consisting of a first sleeve intended to be connected to a first shaft end. The sleeve has a radial flange and a cylindrical, annular portion connected to the periphery of the flange. A second sleeve is intended to be connected to a second shaft end and to be surrounded by said cylindrical portion. A number of elastically deformable spherical elements are arranged in opposing recesses in said second sleeve and cylindrical portion and distributed around a shaft end. The recesses in the cylindrical portion are arranged in the end surfaces of plugs and provided with external threads. The plugs by being turned are displaceable in threaded bores provided radially in the wall of the cylindrical part. The outer end surfaces of the plugs are provided with diametrical grooves and the cylindrical portion is provided with a diametrical groove. The diametrical grooves and the peripheral grooves define an annular groove. A locking ring is disposed in the annular groove to lock all the plugs in a desired position.

Ball coupling

A device for providing a clamping joint comprises two elements (1,2) with complementary threads, each having a flange constituting a clamping surface. Clamping takes place upon relative axial displacement of the elements (1,2) which can be brought about by screws (4) arranged axially in bores in a flange (5) on one element. In order to prevent accidental disengagement of the elements, at least one of the threads adjoins at one end to a part (6) which is wedged against an opposing thread flank when the elements (1,2) are rotated in relation to each other over a predetermined end position.

Device for providing a clamping joint

A pressure oil injector assembly characterized by novel features of construction and arrangement providing easy and quick mounting and dismounting and which has good transportability comprising an attachment and connecting member with connections for a pump housing of a pressure medium pump and a pressure pipe. The mounting arrangement is such that the high pressure side of the pump in in communication with the pressure pipe. The pump housing and pressure pipe are connected to the attachment and connecting member by means of threaded dowels which seat in threaded bores in the attachment and connecting member which are opposed to each other and spaced by a chamber or aperture. In the principal embodiment, a manometer seats in the aperture with a certain amount of play and is supported in a firm position between the inner terminal ends of the dowels. Accordingly, the angular position of one of the dowels and therefore, also the angular position of the pump can be freely chosen in relation to the attachment and connecting member and the parts including the manometer can be firmly connected in a leakproof manner simply by tightening the other dowel.

Pressure oil injector

A device for sealing the space between two surfaces comprising an elongated body portion made of a flexible, resilient material such as rubber. The body portion engages in a recess in one of said surfaces. The sealing device further includes at least two rigid plate members seating in a recess in the body portion and having a portion projecting therefrom defining a channel and a sealing member mounted in said channel and projecting therefrom to engage the other of the sealing surfaces to be sealed.

Sealing device

A bearing housing characterized by novel features of construction and arrangement providing an adjustable bearing seat. The housing has a longitudinal slot and mounting portions protruding at each side of the slot. Each of the mounting portions is provided with a support surface confronting a base which in the unloaded condition is disposed at an angle relative to the base. The angular relationship of the mounting portions to the base can be selectively varied by pressing the mounting portions against the base by fastening elements engaging through openings in the mounting portion and engageable in the base. The housing is elastically deformable and when so adjusted the width of the slot is selectively varied and thereby the diameter of the seat can be adjusted.
