A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism, and an in-chamber medication unit sensor. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule, and then only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber. A patient may receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule and dispense by the timer schedule, only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber.

A double safe child resistant cap for medicine containers includes a cap with a cap main structure having a side wall and a top, and including: a) a first safe child resistant cap mechanism requiring compound movement to unlock; and b) a second safe child resistant cap mechanism including (i) a coupling rod attached to said cap main structure top and extending upwardly and (ii) a push-pull valve connected to said container for dispensing therefrom, said push-pull valve having a force-fit coupling rod receiver, wherein said push-pull valve has a down closed position and an up position, which is an open position to permit dispensing. Another embodiment includes a dosage cup with the coupling rod in place of a cap top coupling rod.

A child resistant cap includes: (a) a main closure base; (b) an outer ring unit that functions as a safety collar; (c) a dispensing mechanism on the base; (d) an overcap. The base attaches to a top dispensing container and the horizontally rotatable ring unit is attached to the base. Alternatively, the outer ring unit is fixedly attached to the container. The overcap has protrusions and the ring has corresponding cut outs. There is a ring cut out gap lock that prevents at least one protrusion from passing through a cut out gap, unless it is moved to a release position after alignment of the ring unit and overcap.

A child resistant cap with a U-channel safety component includes an inner and an outer member. The inner member has sidewalls with two horizontal tracks, being an upper and a lower track. There in a top horizontal flange with breaks to permit movement of outer member inwardly projecting lugs therethrough, and a central horizontal flange with breaks to permit movement of inwardly projecting lugs from the lower track upwardly past the central horizontal break, past the upper track, and through the breaks of the upper track top horizontal flange. There are vertical stops that prevent the lugs from entering the break when in the upper track, and one stop adjacent one break on the lower track to permit lugs to enter the break when in the lower track. A user rotates the outer member to a position for movement to the lower track, rotates to a stop, and lists to open.

The inner cap has a spray actuator orifice large enough to permit a vertical nozzle of a spray container to pass therethrough and small enough to prevent a spray container spray actuator from passing therethrough. A user removes the outer cap, inverts it and pushes up through the bottom to raise up the spray container nozzle and to push on the spray actuator to dispense.

A child resistant container with inverting cap bottom lift features has a container main body adapted to receive a sprayer container with a top-positioned spray activator, and has at least one lift rod slot on its bottom; an inner cap for permanent connection to the open top of the container after a spray container is placed therein; and an outer cap with at least one downwardly projecting lift rod. The inner cap has a spray activator orifice large enough to permit a spray activator of a spray container to pass therethrough and small enough to prevent a spray container connected to the spray activator from passing therethrough. A user removes the outer cap, inverts it and pushes up through the bottom to raise up the spray container enough to expose the spray activator and its nozzle for spray use.

A child resistant container with inverting cap top key for spray activation includes (a) a container main body adapted to receive a sprayer container with a top-positioned spray activator and spray nozzle; (b) an inner cap adapted for permanent connection to the open top of the container main body and having at least one key slot to permit at least one key to be inserted therein to permit a spray activator of a spray container to be activated by depression; (c) cut-out(s) to expose the spray activator nozzle when needed; (d) an outer cap to fit over the inner cap and having upwardly projecting key(s) for spray activation when the outer cap is inverted and inserted into the inner cap.

A rotate, squeeze and lift child resistant safety cap with a dispenser actuator for attachment to a pressurized container having a dispenser stem on its top includes: an inner member for attachment to either the container or its closure, the inner member having an outer member interlocking component, being one of a circular track and a circular rail, the circular track having inside and outside ledges with a track space between the inside and outside ledges, the track space having a predetermined track space width, the circular rail having inside and outside protrusions adapted to ride inside the track space and under the ledges, the protrusions having widths less than the track space width and greater than one half the track space width; and an outer member being an outer closure having a circular bottom that is semi-flexible, and at its circular bottom, having the other of the one of a circular track and a circular rail. When a user squeezes the outer member at the squeeze indicia to flex the outer member from circular to oval, the outer member can be removed to expose the dispenser stem for use.

A two-way dispenser cap has a main cap member and a toggle valve. The main cap member has two passages that allow material from inside an attached container to dispense. The first passage leads to a trap chamber that is defined by the main cap member and the toggle valve walls. The second passage leads to an outlet passage for continuous pouring dispensation. The toggle valve pivots in relation to the two-way dispenser cap between one of three positions: no dispensation, metered dispensation from the trap chamber passage or continuous pour dispensation. When the toggle valve pivots to open the trap chamber passage, the trap chamber inlet is closed off. When the toggle valve pivots to open the continuous pour passage, the trap chamber outlet remains closed. When the toggle valve pivots to the closed position, both the inlet passages are in fluid communication with the attached container's interior, but both outlets are closed. The main cap member has a recessed top portion.

A squeeze and lift child resistant safety closure for attachment to a container having a conventional container closure on its top includes: an inner member for attachment to either the container or its closure, the inner member having an outer member interlocking component, being one of a circular track and a circular rail, the circular track having inside and outside ledges with a track space between the inside and outside ledges, the track space having a predetermined track space width, the circular rail having inside and outside protrusions adapted to ride inside the track space and under the ledges, the protrusions having widths less than the track space width and greater than one half the track space width; and an outer member being an outer closure having a circular bottom that is semi-flexible, and at its circular bottom, having the other of the one of a circular track and a circular rail. When the inner member is attached to a container under its conventional closure and the inner member and the outer member are interconnected, access to the convention closure is denied. However, if a user squeezes the outer member at the squeeze indicia to flex the outer member from circular to oval, the outer member can be removed to expose the conventional container closure for normal opening.
