The subject matter of this disclosure can be implemented in, among other things, a method. In these examples, the method includes receiving a request to join a conference call from a user, and determining whether the user is allowed to join the conference call based on an access policy configurable by a moderator of the conference call. The method may also include upon determining that the user is allowed to join the conference call, connecting the user to the conference all, determining a set of permissions granted to the user for participating on the conference call based on the access policy, and outputting a user interface to the user or sending a message to another computing device to cause the other computing device to output the user interface to the user, wherein the user interface includes a set of conference call management options based upon the set of permissions granted to the user.

Late binding of device settings in a host raster image processor

Methods and apparatus for managing a source image that is output in a rotated or skewed orientation to a raster buffer. The source image includes a plurality of source samples arranged in source rows having a source direction. The raster buffer is oriented in a destination space and receives the rotated or skewed image as a series of samples in rows defined by a destination direction. The raster buffer provides rows of samples to a rendering device for rendering scan lines for output on a raster device. The method includes determining an angle between the source direction and the destination direction and adjusting the organization of the source samples to align source samples in scan rows where each scan line can be rendered from the raster buffer using at most a predetermined small number of scan rows.

Data management for rotated sampled images

The present invention removes restrictions on the maximum data transfer rate provided by the Centronics.RTM. and PC-compatible parallel interface (i.e., standard parallel interface). Further, the present invention retains complete compatibility with the standard parallel port and peripheral device cable. With the present invention, a computer (i.e., host) is able to send data through a standard parallel port at a high rate by eliminating the Busy handshaking signal. Further, one to three Input/Output (I/O) instructions can be eliminated for each byte of data transfer.
