An adjusted landscape evapotranspiration rate may be calculated based on a determined drought category. The watering schedule for the watering zone may be altered in accordance with the adjusted landscape evapotranspiration rate.

Irrigation controllers, methods, and computer readable media for altering a watering schedule for an irrigation controller in accordance with determined drought conditions are disclosed. A drought category for a watering zone may be determined. An adjusted landscape evapotranspiration rate may be calculated based on the drought category. The watering schedule for the watering zone may be altered in accordance with the adjusted landscape evapotranspiration rate.

An irrigation controller is disclosed together with associated methods and computer program products. The watering schedule may be formulated based on catch cup data for one or more watering zones of a property to be watered.

A system is disclosed to obtain energy consumption data for an energy monitored property. An identification module is configured to identify, based on first actual energy usage data for the energy-monitored property, one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future time periods when energy consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal within the energy-monitored property. An irrigation controller is disclosed together with associated methods and computer program products. User input specifying a requested start time may be received. A total desired watering time may be calculated. A total permissible watering time may be calculated. The start time may be moved back relative to the requested start time in response to determining that the total permissible watering time is less than the total desired watering time.

Device for use in an irrigation system

A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.

Conduit coupling apparatus and method

A system, method, and device may be used to provide irrigation water consumption data. The system may include an irrigation valve interface and controller that communicates with irrigation valves to open and close the valves. An identification module identifies one or more time periods when water consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal and a calibration module opens and closes the irrigation valves according to calibration schedule data. A timestamp module may identify a calibration valve open time and a calibration valve close time for the irrigation valves and a computational module may calculate a computed flow rate for the irrigation valves based on the calibration valve open time, the calibration valve close time, and the actual water usage data that occurred between the calibration valve open time and the calibration valve close time. The computed flow rate may be utilized to identify anomalies and provide notifications thereof.

An irrigation controller is disclosed together with associated methods and computer program products. The irrigation controller may calculate a first estimated in-soil water level at a first point in time and a second estimated in-soil water level at a second point in time with the second point in time comprising a beginning of an impermissible watering period for one watering zone. The irrigation controller may set a watering schedule, based on an estimated irrigation rate and the difference between the second estimated in-soil water level and an in-soil water capacity, for the one watering zone of a property such that the second estimated in-soil water level is elevated to the estimated in-soil water capacity based on the estimated irrigation rate for the one watering zone during a permissible watering period immediately before the impermissible watering period.

A bracket assembly is described. A center bracket may have two protrusions on a first leg portion and two protrusions on a second leg portion. The protrusions of the center bracket may be positioned and shaped to interface with arcuate guide slots on leg portions of a first bracket and a second bracket. Curvatures of the arcuate guide slots may be positioned and shaped to maintain the center bracket longitudinal axis at substantially the same angle with respect to the first bracket longitudinal axis as the center bracket longitudinal axis is with respect to the second bracket longitudinal axis as the first bracket and second bracket pivot over a range of angles about a point of rotation in an assembled configuration.

The estimated replenishment point time is a time when the estimated in-soil water level will reach or extend below a replenishment point level within the at least one watering zone. The replenishment point level may be based, for example, on plant type.
