A method and system for cross-marketing products and services to customers of specific merchant web sites on the Internet by a merchant loyalty service provider web site on the Internet, provides a hyperlink to a merchant loyalty service provider web site from a merchant web site whereby customers can access the merchant loyalty service provider web site directly from the merchant web site. The merchant loyalty service provider web site makes to customers of the merchant customer loyalty benefit offers related to the business of said merchant web site, to build customer loyalty to the merchant web site.

Method and system for cross-marketing products and services over a distributed communication network

A battery hold-down apparatus includes a generally rectangular frame constructed from a single strip of metal angle material. A battery clamp comprising two separable members is attached to said frame with one of the clamp members comprising a U shaped rigid rod which extends up from one side of the frame, over the battery and downward and ends in an eyelet extending away from the battery. The other clamp member extends upward from the opposite side of the frame and through the eyelet with the clamp being tightened by a wing nut threaded onto the upper end of the second clamp member. Each of the clamp members can be constructed from a single steel rod with each clamp member being pivotable relative to the frame. The apparatus is readily adaptable to multiple battery installations.

Battery hold-down

A low resistance connector system for a trolling motor battery includes a receptacle having sockets connected to the terminals of two rechargeable batteries, a charger plug, and a trolling motor power plug. The two plugs are similar and each includes pins for engagement with the sockets of the receptacle. The charger plug has a pair of charger jumpers which interconnect the charger pins in such a manner that insertion of the charger plug into the receptacle connects the two batteries in parallel for charging by a battery charger connected to the charger plug. The power plug has a power jumper interconnecting two of its power pins such that when the power plug is inserted into the receptacle, the batteries are connected in series and provide the voltage from one of the batteries and, additionally, the combined voltages of both batteries for powering the trolling motor. The plugs and receptacle are cooperatively keyed to properly orient the plug pins in the sockets of the receptacle.
