Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods, and products comprise an analytic server, which tracks and locates electronic devices (e.g., wireless devices and devices enabled with wireless transmitters). The analytic server monitors wireless signals detected by different observer devices at different time points. The analytic server analyzes the wireless signals to build signal graph and generate hyperclusters. When the analytic server receives a request of finding a lost/missing device, the analytic server receives observations from observer devices that detect the wireless signals from the missing device, determine signal context (e.g., hypercluster) and geolocation of the missing device based on observations from observer devices, performs resolution to narrow down the geolocation. The analytic server also combats different forms of active attacks. The analytic server generates a graphical user interface comprising the location information of the missing device.

Systems and methods for locating or tracking devices using proximal groupings of devices

The present disclosure describes systems and methods for providing differentiated actions associated with predetermined types of SSIDs, as determined by a registry computing service. Embodiments include registry databases, SSID transmitters, and WED's connected through the cloud, having a hardware configuration suitable for communicating wirelessly. Hardware of the registry service may execute any number of modules, including SSID Databases, Parsing Modules, Registration Modules, and Query Handling Modules, among others. Suitable SSID databases may store a set of SSIDs, SSID types, and SSID substrings associated with the SSID types. Methods described here include registration processes and processes for providing a WED differentiated actions associated with an SSID. If the registry determines that the SSID matches an SSID in the SSID database, the WED and SSID transmitter may take actions associated with the SSID. Otherwise, the WED and SSID transmitter may take actions defined to be the default actions for an SSID.

Methods and systems for associating or accessing one or more social media profiles are disclosed herein. The system may include one or more unconnected (Wireless Enabled Devices) WEDs which may broadcast or detect a beacon message, where the beacon message may include the MAC address or other wireless identifier of the broadcasting WED (Wireless Enabled Device). The detecting WED may send a query to an API for accessing or retrieving one or more social media profiles that may be associated with the detected MAC address. The API may check the detected MAC address against a plurality of MAC addresses previously registered in a registry. The API may retrieve links stored in the registry and associated with the registered MAC address. The API may send these links to the detecting WED which may use the links to automatically retrieve one or more social media profiles from third-party providers.

A system and method for managing content exchanges in a wireless network using a listener module. A listener module receives a message broadcast by a string broadcast station. The string broadcast station message includes a network information string. The listener module also receives a message broadcast by a wireless station. The wireless station message includes the MAC address of the wireless station. The listener module associates the network information string with the MAC address of the wireless station and stores the pair a list server device. The wireless station may then request a list from the list server device of network information strings associated with the MAC address of the wireless station.

System and method for managing content exchanges in a wireless network using a listener module

Described here is a wireless network management system and methods that may include the use of Authorized Device Specific SSIDs (ADSSs), Access Point Managers, Registries, and Wireless Enabled Devices (WEDs) for providing a roaming service. Systems described here may include access points which may establish connections with WEDs using suitable SSIDs and credentials, where WEDs may attempt to connect to access points broadcasting suitable SSIDs automatically when in range. Access point hardware of use in systems described in the present disclosure may be able to broadcast multiple SSIDs, publicly or hidden, and may form one or more virtual access points (VAPs) perceivable by WEDs in range of the access point. Multi-region access point systems described here include a registry used to store information about services associated with WEDs, and are able to return the information to Access Points in multiple regions to provide service to the WEDs.

A system and methods for storing and associating wireless enabled devices with personal information from their users are disclosed. The system may include a registry for storing the wireless enabled devices unique identifiers and their associated personal information. The system may also include methods for delivering content or triggering actions by identifying a user within range of a wireless access point. The user may be identified by a wireless enabled device unique identifier included in a probe message broadcast by the wireless enabled device and received by a wireless access point.
