A light shielding system configured to shield at least one eye of a patient from incident light for an electroretinogram includes a substantially lighttight shielding box enclosing an inner space arranged to receive a handheld Ganzfeld stimulator, which box is mountable over the at least one eye of the patient; the box including at least one sleeve extending into the box to allow manipulation of the Ganzfeld stimulator.

A device for measuring elasticity of a tissue of an object is disclosed. It comprises a base portion comprising contact means for contacting the tissue. It also comprises a palpation probe for pushing down on the tissue comprising a palpation pen for pushing down the tissue and a force measuring means for determining a palpation force applied to the palpation probe and/or a displacement measuring means for determining a displacement of the palpation pen being representative for a displacement of the tissue. The device also comprises a swiveling handle mounted pivotally to the base portion for positioning the device and for distributing a positioning force along the at least two contact points in a predetermined manner.

Tissue elasticity measurement

An assembly for forming an injection device, comprising: a foot to be placed on a skin; a body comprising at least one needle, the body being movably mounted to the foot for allowing movement of the needle towards the skin, the needle extending out of a second contact surface by a predefined distance for limiting a penetration depth of the needle; first friction means for preventing movement of the body relative to the foot for causing a sudden acceleration; the assembly further comprising second friction means for creating a dynamic friction when the needle is moving towards the skin for keeping the skin stretched.

Injection device

A device for capturing a predetermined volume of a predefined portion (e.g. first void) of a liquid flow, comprises an inlet, an outlet, and a guide with an element displaceable in a first position for capturing the first liquid portion in a reservoir, and in a second position for blocking access to the reservoir, and for passing the liquid to the outlet. The displaceable element moves in transverse direction to the liquid flow, and has lifting means. The element may be substantially flat, or tubular with an elliptical cross section. A kit of parts and a method of assembly are also claimed.

An intradermal injection device comprises a housing, a foot with an opening for passage of a needle; a reservoir movably mounted in the housing, and having a hollow space for holding a fluid; a hollow needle movably mounted in the housing and having a first end for penetrating the subject's skin and a second end for penetrating the reservoir, a plunger movably mounted in the housing for moving the needle through the opening for penetrating the subject's skin, and for pressing the fluid out of the reservoir. The reservoir is frictionally mounted inside the housing by first friction means, and the plunger is frictionally mounted to the reservoir by second friction means. The force to overcome the second friction is larger than the force to overcome the first friction.
