The invention relates to a driving wheel for car engines or the like, incorporating a gear wheel, which is intended to cooperate with a cogged belt, and a pulley attached to one side of the gear wheel and arrested to this. The gear wheel molded from a plastic or similar material having a coefficient of thermal expansion higher than steel's coefficient of thermal expansion and by having a helix of steel or another material with a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to or identical with that of steel embedded in the gear of the wheel radially inside the cogs, whereby the helix has such strength and dimension that it determines the thermal expansion properties of the gear rim.

Driving wheel with a belt pulley

The invention relates to a gear wheel consisting of plastic material or a similar material having a coefficient of thermal expansion higher than that of steel. The gear wheel further includes a helix of steel or another material having a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to or identical with that of steel embedded in the gear rim of the wheel radially inside the teeth, whereby the helix has such a strength and dimension that it determines the coefficient of thermal expansion of the gear rim.

Gear wheel

A first member, such as a clutch release bearing can be releasably connected to a second member, such as a cup spring in a coupling device, in that the member has a cyclindrical portion, which is insertable in a hole in the second member, the hole being surrounded by radially inwardly directed tongues. The portion is provided with radially outwardly directed projections forming a rim and being of a number and a circumferential extension corresponding to the interspaces between the tongues and which can be displayed through these interspaces. Catch fingers are arranged to be inserted between the tongues and the projections respectively after assembly for preventing unintentional disconnection of the connection. The fingers may be removed from the lock position at dismounting.

Clutch release bearing assembly

A mounting tool for mounting a bearing assembly including an inner ring having a tapered inner peripheral surface and an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements in the annular space between the rings on a shaft member with a predetermined preload or play by means of a tapered sleeve confronting the tapered surface of the inner ring operable upon axial movement relative to the inner ring to exert a radial seating force on the inner ring of the bearing assembly comprising a mounting member movable axially on the shaft member and engageable with said sleeve member to actuate it axially relative to said inner ring, a spacing ring circumscribing the mounting sleeve and actuatable axially relative thereto and positioned to engage the inner ring when said mounting sleeve is moved axially to actuate the sleeve member and a stop ring having internal threads cooperating with threads on the mounting sleeve to selectively control the position of the spacing ring on the mounting sleeve and thereby control preload in the bearing assembly.

Mounting tool

A lubricating system including an annular channel, lubricant inlet and outlet ports communicating with the channel, a sealing ring made of flexible elastic material of U-shaped cross section mounted in the channel, a plurality of spaced apart supply holes in the ring, pressure in the supply port operable to displace the sealing ring to permit fluid communicating between the inlet port and one of the supply holes. The supply holes are arranged so that two holes are not disposed diametrically opposite one another.

Sealing ring for a bearing lubricating system

The invention refers to wheel-shaped objects such a pulley discs, which incorporate a rigid internal hub, a rigid outer circumferential part and a web interconnecting these parts and being of a material which has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the hub and the circumferential part. The invention is characterized therein that the web portion in circular cross-section has a zigzag-like design and that through-grooves are made in the web portion, where this connects to the circumferential part, thus that the material of the web portion at cooling can disengage itself from the circumferential part at these grooves thereby to prevent not desired tensile stresses to develop.

Wheel-shaped objects

A mounting tool for fitting machine elements such as rolling bearings on a shaft. Such elements shall be mounted with a desired radial expansion. In order to obtain this expansion the mounting tool incorporates a first driving up sleeve (5), which is intended to co-operate with tapering sleeves (3,4) which actually mount the element on the shaft. The driving up sleeve (5) is arranged with an axially adjustable spacing ring (6) adjustable to a predetermined position calculated to produce the desired expansion.

The invention refers to a hub for fans, wheels or the like, mainly consisting of a cast compound such as plastic. Adjacent the bore (3) of the hub there is embedded a reinforcing coil (4) preferably of steel. This coil is so strong that it at temperature variations will urge the cast compound to follow the thermal dimension variations of the coil (4).

The invention relates to rolling bearings and concerns particularly the design of retainer and possibly guiding ring of such bearings. The invention is characterized thereby that the retainer or the guiding ring incorporates rings (3) of the material having the same coefficient of thermal expansion as the material of the race rings. These rings are embedded e.g. in plastic, which has another coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the material in the rings.

Rolling bearing

An electric motor comprising a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted in a stator cavity. The stator is made from at least two stator sections and each section comprises a plurality of axially directed generally semi-cylindrical sheet metal laminations having axial edges which are directed inwardly to form the rotor cavity and having the area between said edges surrounded by a stator coil. Each stator part has at its axial ends a radially directed plate member including a series of axially extending spaced teeth which project and engage between the edges of the sheet metal laminations adjacent the plate member to maintain the laminations in predetermined spaced relation to allow passage of cooling medium through the stator coil.

Stator assembly for an electric motor

The invention refers to a fastening sleeve for fastening machine members such as bearings or gear wheels to a shaft. The fastening sleeve is characterized by a body of pressed sheet metal, which is embedded or encapsulated in a housing made of plastic material. One surface of the fastening sleeve is tapering and one axial end of the body is free from moulding compound projecting outwardly beyond one axial end of the plastic housing.

A nozzle for dosing, feeding and if necessary mixing substances, comprising a rotatable vessel of cup-like form having a base, a central hub portion and an outer wall spaced radially outwardly from the hub portion. The outer wall defines a pouring opening in its upper portion and has a plurality of outlet openings disposed at its lower portion. The vessel is rotatable about a central vertically disposed axis through the hub portion. A plurality of equiangularly spaced partition walls extending between the hub portion and outer wall divides the nozzle into a plurality of chambers. An outlet opening is provided in each of the chambers; and a receiving mold at each outlet rotatable with nozzle receives the molding material by centrifugal force. A stationary supply tube means discharging into the pouring opening of the nozzle combined with rotation of the nozzle at a predetermined uniform rate ensures that substantially equal quantities of the molding material are dispensed to each of the molds located adjacent the outlet openings in the nozzle.

Feeding and mixing nozzle and method for mixing liquid resin mixtures

A pump motor assembly comprising a stator with windings, a rotor shaft mounting a rotor in said stator, a diffuser housing arranged adjacent said stator and enclosing at least partly the stator windings, means defining a flow channel in said diffuser housing for circulation of a medium from an inlet to an outlet in said diffuser housing, and disposed in said flow channel for circulating the cooling medium therethrough over the stator windings to cool the same.

Liquid cooled pump motor unit

An electric motor attached at one axial end to a frame for a dishwashing machine or the like and which at its opposite free end is provided with a cooling blower for generating air jets. The improvement comprises cooling channels for the air arranged around the stator, the cooling channels having outlet openings for the cooling air facing the frame and situated at a predetermined distance from the frame with the exception of one or some of the channels at one side of the motor which in combination with the frame are closed in an axial direction and are provided with outlet openings for the cooling air so that the cooling air is directed inwardly against the shaft at the end of the motor turned towards the frame.

A nozzle for dosing, feeding and if necessary mixing liquid and/or solid components, comprising a rotatable vessel of cup-like form. The vessel has a base, a central hub portion and an outer generally cylindrical wall spaced radially outwardly from the hub portion. The cylindrical wall has a pouring opening in its upper portion and a plurality of outlet openings disposed preferably at its lower portion. The vessel is rotatable about a central vertically disposed axis through the hub portion. The vessel is divided into a plurality of chambers by vertically oriented equiangularly spaced partition walls extending between the hub and outer wall.
