A pressure exchanger with a valve system includes a cylinder barrel (), two valve plates () and two port plates (), wherein the cylinder barrel () has at least one cylinder () which accommodates a piston (). The objective is to provide a pressure exchanger with low wear and a low maintenance effort. This objective is solved by a pressure exchanger including a piston () braking system and that the piston () includes a pressure relief arrangement.

A hydraulic piston machine is described comprising a piston () having a hollow () secured by a wall () and an insert () arranged in the hollow. Such a machine should have a high efficiency at low costs. To this end the insert () comprises a section () which extends out of the hollow ().

Hydraulic piston machine

A hydraulic machine includes a first member () having a first structure () for a hydraulic medium opening in a first interface surface () and a second member having a second structure for the hydraulic medium opening in a second interface surface is described, the first interface surface () being in contact with the second interface surface, wherein at least one of the members () is provided with a support element () surrounding the member (). Such a machine should have a good efficiency. To this end the support element () has a strength varying in circumferential direction around the member () and/or in thickness direction in a middle region of the member ().

Hydraulic machine

A piston () having a piston shaft (), a ball head () at one end of the piston shaft (), and a slider shoe () mounted to the ball head (), wherein the ball head () has a through channel (), the slider shoe () has a sliding surface () and a through hole () in communication with an end of the through channel (), and a plastic material () is arranged in a gap between the slider shoe () and the ball head () and forms an inner coating () of the through hole (). The production of such a piston should be facilitated. To this end a sealing surface () is arranged at the end of the through channel () wherein the sealing surface () surrounds the opening of the through channel () into the through bore () and an inner diameter of the sealing surface () is smaller than an inner diameter of the inner coating () of the through bore ().

A piston () of a hydraulic piston machine is described, the piston () having a hollow () surrounded by a wall () and an insert () arranged in the hollow (). Such a piston is used to have a piston machine with high efficiency at low costs. To this end at least two pliable rings () are arranged between the insert () and the wall ().

A tube assembly () including an inner tube () having an outer thread (), an outer tube () having an inner thread () engaging the outer thread (), at least for securing an angular position between the inner tube () and the outer tube () is provided. Such a tube assembly should facilitate mounting and maintenance of a reverse osmosis system. To this end, the inner tube () includes at least an groove () on its outer surface and the outer tube () includes an recess () on its inner surface, wherein a blocking element is arranged in a space formed by the recess () and the groove () in overlapping relation with the groove () and the recess ().

A valve plate assembly () of a hydraulic axial piston machine is described, the valve plate assembly comprising a wear plate () made of a ceramic material surrounded by a compression ring (). Such a valve plate assembly should be produced and maintained in a cost-effective manner. To this end, the wear plate () is connected to a support plate () by means of the compression ring ().

A hydraulic machine is described comprising a first part () and a second part (), wherein the first part () and the second part () are movable relatively to each other in abutting relation, the first part () comprises a pressure chamber () having a pressure chamber opening () in a contact face () contacting a sealing face () of the second part (), the second part () comprises a low pressure area () connected to a low pressure opening () in the sealing face () and a high pressure area () connected to a high pressure opening () in the sealing face (), wherein during a movement of the first part () with respect to the second part () in a moving direction () the pressure chamber opening () comes alternatingly in overlap with the low pressure opening () and the high pressure opening (). Such a machine should be flexible in operation with low risk of damages caused by cavitation. To this end a throttling channel () in the second part () connects the low pressure area () with an area in the sealing face () in moving direction in front of the low pressure opening ().

A hydraulic machine is described having a first part () and a second part () moveable relative to said first part (), one of said first part () and said second part () having a first land () resting against the other one of said second part () and said first part (), having a predetermined first height (H), and being arranged between a high pressure area () and a low pressure area (). Such a machine should have a long working life. To this end a second land () having a predetermined second height (H) smaller than said first height (H) is located adjacent to said first land ().

A pump device () is provided comprising: a shaft (), rotor means () fixed to said shaft () in rotational direction, said rotor means () having pressure chambers () the volume of which varying during a rotation of said rotor means (), port plate means () having a through going opening () for each of said pressure chambers () and being connected to said rotor means () in rotational direction, and valve plate means () cooperating with said port plate means (). It is intended to pressurize a high volume of fluid, in particular water, within a limited space. To this end said rotor means () comprise a first rotor () and at least a second rotor (), both rotors being fixed to said shaft () in rotational direction, said first rotor () having at least a first pressure chamber () and said second rotor () having at least a second pressure chamber (), said port plate means () having a first port plate () and at least a second port plate (), said first port plate () having a through going opening () for said first pressure chamber () and being connected to said first rotor () in rotational direction, said second port plate () having a through going opening () for said second pressure chamber () and being connected to said second rotor () in rotational direction, said valve plate means () having a first valve plate () and at least a second valve plate (), said first valve plate () cooperating with said first port plate (), and said second valve plate () cooperating with said second port plate (), wherein at least one of said first rotor () and said second rotor () comprises force generating means () pressing said second port plate () against said second valve plate () even in absence of hydraulic pressure in said second pressure chamber ().

Pump device

A pump arrangement () is provided comprising a driving shaft (), cylinder drum means () fixed to said shaft () in rotational direction and having a plurality of cylinders (), and a piston () in each cylinder, each piston () having a slide shoe () in contact with driving surface means (). Such a pump arrangement should produce a pressure with low undulations. To this end said cylinder drum means () comprise at least a first cylinder drum () and a second cylinder drum (), said cylinder drums () being fixed to said common shaft () in rotational direction, wherein the cylinder drums () are offset with respect to each other in rotational direction.

Pump arrangement

A hydraulic machine is provided comprising a cylinder unit () having a plurality of cylinders () which are located on a circle line around an axis of rotation of said cylinder unit (), a valve plate () located at an axial end of said cylinder unit () and having a through-going opening () for each cylinder (), and a port plate, said valve plate () and said port plate resting against each other in sliding contact at a contact face, wherein a pressure in each cylinder () acts on a pressure area on a side of said valve plate () opposite said port plate. In such a hydraulic machine the risk of leaking should be kept small. To this end said pressure area () deviates from a circular form.

A vane cell machine () is described comprising a stator () and a rotor (), said rotor () having radially displaceable vanes () bearing on an inside () of the stator () and bordering, together with the rotor (), the stator (), and a side wall () at each axial end of the rotor (), work chambers () the volume of which changes during a rotation of said rotor, at least one side wall () bearing an insert in form of a ring (). Such a machine should be of simple construction. To this end, said ring () comprises a centric bore ().

A hydraulic machine arrangement () is described having a housing (), a working section and a hollow inside said housing (), a supply port arrangement LPin, HPin, LPout connected to said working area, and a leakage path () between said working section and said hollow. It should be possible to detect wear with simple means. To this end, said housing () is provided with a leakage port () connected to said hollow.

Hydraulic machine arrangement

A hydraulic arrangement () is provided comprising a pressure exchanger () having an axis () of rotation, and a booster pump (), said pressure exchanger () and said booster pump () being connected to each other. Such a hydraulic arrangement should have a good efficiency. To this end a single connection flange () is provided between said pressure exchanger () and the booster pump ().
