The invention relates to a method for characterizing, from a volume image, a fibrous structure having a three-dimensional weaving between a plurality of warp yarns extending along a first direction and a plurality of weft yarns extending along a second direction perpendicular to the first one, the method comprising: a first processing of the volume image by filtering along a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions so as to attenuate the periodic patterns along the third direction, obtaining a two-dimensional image corresponding to an intermediate plane along the third direction of the filtered volume image, a second processing of the two-dimensional image by filtering along the first or second direction so as to attenuate the periodic patterns, obtaining a one-dimensional profile representing the positions of warp or weft columns and corresponding to an intermediate line along the first or second direction.

Method, device and program for processing diffraction images of a crystalline material

The invention relates to novel biocompatible hybrid nanoparticles of very small size, useful in particular for diagnostics and/or therapy. The purpose of the invention is to offer novel nanoparticles which are useful in particular as contrast agents in imaging (e.g. MRI) and/or in other diagnostic techniques and/or as therapeutic agents, which give better performance than the known nanoparticles of the same type and which combine both a small size (for example less than 20 nm) and a high loading with metals (e.g. rare earths), in particular so as to have, in imaging (e.g. MRI), strong intensification and a correct response (increased relaxivity) at high frequencies. Thus, the nanoparticles according to the invention, with diameter dbetween 1 and 20 nm, each comprise a polyorganosiloxane (POS) matrix including gadolinium cations optionally associated with doping cations; a chelating graft CDTPABA (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid bisanhydride) bound to the POS matrix by an &#x2014;Si&#x2014;C&#x2014; covalent bond, and present in sufficient quantity to be able to complex all the gadolinium cations; and optionally another functionalizing graft Gf* bound to the POS matrix by an &#x2014;Si&#x2014;C&#x2014; covalent bond (where Gf* can be derived from a hydrophilic compound (PEG); from a compound having an active ingredient PA1; from a targeting compound; from a luminescent compound (fluorescein). The method for the production of these nanoparticles and the applications thereof in imaging and in therapy also form part of the invention.

A computer-implemented method for identifying mechanical parameters of an object subjected to mechanical stress is provided. The method comprises a step of acquiring, by an imaging means, images of the object taken before and during the application of the mechanical stress, three steps of calculating the effects due to the stress carried out either on the basis of the modeling of the recorded images or on the basis of a theoretical mechanical modeling of the stress, a step of defining a functional equal to the difference between the two models and a last step of minimizing said functional so that the experimental model is as close as possible to the theoretical mechanical model. Additional measurements make it possible to refine the method.

A tomography scanner includes at least one first emission source (GX), one first matrix detector (D), and a computer (C) arranged to produce an initial tomography of an object (E) based on radiographs arising from the first matrix detector, taken from various angles. The tomography scanner further includes a second emission source (GX) and a second matrix detector (D) arranged so that, when the object is subjected to a loading that is known at a given instant in time, the computer determines the changes in the object subjected to said loading based only on the information from the first radiograph of the object under loading arising from the first matrix detector, from the second radiograph of the object under loading arising from the second matrix detector and the initial tomograph, the first radiograph and the second radiograph being taken simultaneously at the same given instant in time.

'4D' dynamic tomography system

In the field of methods of three-dimensional measurement of an object by stereo-correlation, methods require at least two cameras connected to image processing means. These methods include at least a first step of calibration of the two image planes and a second step of spatial matching between these two image planes. These two steps can be followed by a third step of temporal matching. The method provided requires objects, the surface of which has a parametric representation, i.e. a mathematical representation of the object surface having the form of a decomposition over a scalar function basis. The parametric representation is implemented during the first calibration step and/or during the second and third steps of spatial or temporal matching.

The present invention relates to novel octapeptide compounds of general formula (I): H-2-Nal-cyclo(Cys-Tyr-AA-Lys-Val-Cys)-Thr-NH. Since these products have a good affinity for certain somatostatin receptor subtypes, they are particularly advantageous for treating pathological states or diseases in which one (or more) somatostatin receptor(s) is (are) involved. These compounds furthermore have physiochemical properties that make it possible to envisage them in diverse solutions for the formulation of medicaments, for example as a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing said products and to the use thereof for the preparation of a medicament.
