The invention relates to a method for treating a hydrocarbons charge comprising the following stages, in which:

Method for the valorization of heavy charges by bubbling-bed deasphalting and hydrocracking

A catalyst and process for hydrotreating and/or hydroconverting heavy metal-containing hydrocarbon feeds, said catalyst comprising a support in the form of beads based on alumina, at least one catalytic metal or a compound of a catalytic metal from group VIB (column 6 in the new periodic table notation), optionally at least one catalytic metal or compound of a catalytic metal from group VIII (columns 8, 9 and 10 of the new periodic table notation), with a pore structure composed of a plurality of juxtaposed agglomerates, each formed by a plurality of acicular platelets, the platelets of each agglomerate being generally radially orientated with respect to each other and with respect to the center of the agglomerate. The catalyst also comprises at least one doping element selected from the group constituted by phosphorus, boron, silicon (or silica which does not belong to that which could be contained in the selected support) and halogens.

Doped spherically-shaped supported catalyst and process for hydrotreating and hydroconverting metal-containing oil fractions

The invention concerns a process for treating a hydrocarbon feed comprising a series of a first upstream process for hydrocarbon hydroconversion comprising at least one reaction chamber, the reaction or reactions occurring inside said chambers and employing at least one solid phase, at least one liquid phase and at least one gas phase, and a second downstream steam reforming process comprising at least one reaction chamber, characterized in that the said upstream process is carried out in a 'slurry' and/or an ebullated bed mode and in that the downstream process comprises a first step for at least partial conversion of hydrocarbons heavier than methane into methane, termed the pre-reforming step, and in that the reaction or reactions occurring inside the chambers of the downstream stream reforming process enables the production of a reagent, namely hydrogen, which is necessary for the reactions in the first upstream process.

Series of hydroconversion and steam reforming processes to optimize hydrogen production on production fields

This invention relates to a novel integrated method for economically processing vacuum residue from heavy crude oils. This is accomplished by utilizing a solvent deasphalter (SDA) in the first step of the process with a C/C/Csolvent such that the DAO product can thereafter be processed in a classic fixed-bed hydrotreater or hydrocracker. The SDA feed also includes recycled stripper bottoms containing unconverted residue/asphaltenes from a downstream steam stripper unit. The asphaltenes from the SDA are sent to an ebullated-bed reactor for conversion of the residue and asphaltenes. Residue conversion in the range of 60-80% is achieved and asphaltene conversion is in the range of 50-70%. The overall residue conversion, with the DAO product considered non-residue, is in the range of 80 W %-90 W % and significantly higher than could be achieved without utilizing the present invention.

Integrated SDA and ebullated-bed process

The invention relates to a process for conversion of hydrocarbons in the presence of at least one catalyst with controlled acidity, characterized in that the level of activity of said catalyst in isomerization of the cyclohexane is less than 0.10 and/or in that the ratio of toluene hydrogenation activity to the cyclohexane isomerization activity is greater than 10.
