A method for determining an ophthalmic lens intended to be worn by an individual is provided. The ophthalmic lens is adapted to provide to the individual a vision correction at, at least one, given vision gaze direction. The vision correction is based on wearer data including prescription data of the individual. The method includes the steps of: determining a parameter pertaining to the accommodative dynamics of an eye of the individual, and determining the ophthalmic lens based on the wearer data and on the parameter pertaining to the accommodative dynamics of an eye of the individual. A device is provided for determining the parameter pertaining to the accommodative dynamics of an eye of an individual in the method.

A method for determining at least one optical parameter of an eye of a person comprising displaying at least two sharp images on a retina of the eye of the person, the at least two images comprising a target and being carried by two light beams focused substantially in the plane of a pupil of the eye at at least two different positions, adapting a parameter of the target in each image based on feedback of the person relative to the change of the parameter of the target in the image, and determining the at least one optical parameter of the person's eye based on the adaption of the parameter of the target in each image.

An optometry device for testing an individual's eye, includes a refraction test unit having an optical system for providing different vision correction powers close to the eye of the individual, and a display unit adapted to produce a visual test image for the individual's eye, the visual test image being visible through an exit aperture of the test unit of the optometry device. The display unit includes a screen adapted to display a test picture used in producing the visual test image and at least one optical element having an optical power. The optical element presents an active state in which it exhibits a non zero refraction power placed on an optical path of the light emitted by the screen and exiting the device through the exit aperture, and an inactive state in which it introduces no refractive power on the optical path.

A preparation device () for preparing an ophthalmic lens to be machined, includes a support () suitable for holding the ophthalmic lens, blocking elements () including at least one blocking accessory () and a manipulator arm () for manipulating the blocking accessory, an acquisition device () suitable for acquiring an image of the ophthalmic lens, electronic and/or computer processor elements () suitable firstly for deducing an optical frame of reference of the ophthalmic lens, and secondly for controlling the position of the manipulator arm and/or of the support to apply the blocking accessory against the ophthalmic lens in a given blocking position.
