A valve assembly includes a case, a bottom cap provided at a lower end of the case, a lower float provided within an open interior of the case, an upper float provided within the open interior of the case between the lower float and the upper end of the case, and a biasing member biasing the lower float and the upper float toward the upper end of the case. The lower float includes a canister having an upper end and a rim extending from the upper end of the canister. A pair of openings is formed within the rim adjacent the upper end of the canister and partially defined by a curvilinear edge. The upper float includes a pair of legs, each leg received within a corresponding opening.

A fill limit vent valve includes a float valve, a housing, and a lid. The housing includes a cylindrical outer wall and a tubular portion. The outer wall has a central axis. The tubular portion accommodates the float valve. The lid is placed on the upper end of the tubular portion and has a communicating opening. The housing includes a fuel passage that has an inlet and a discharge port. The discharge port is connected to the communicating opening. A section of the tubular portion that faces the fuel passage is constituted by a curved surface. A guide wall that has at least one guide surface is provided between the fuel passage and the inlet. A straight line on the curved surface that is parallel with the central axis is defined as a generatrix. The guide surface extends along the curved surface while being inclined relative to the generatrix.

Fill limit vent valve

A fuel shut-off valve includes a housing, a float valve, and a tubular fuel inflow portion. The housing includes a communicating opening that communicates with the outside of the fuel tank, a tubular portion that extends in a vertical direction, and an inlet for liquid fuel located in the tubular portion at a position below the communicating opening. The float valve selectively closes and opens the communicating opening by moving vertically. The fuel inflow portion is provided outside the tubular portion and has a first end having an inflow port for liquid fuel and a second end connected to the inlet. The inflow port is opened at a position that is above the inlet and spaced outward in a radial direction from the tubular portion. The housing includes a discharge port for discharging liquid fuel in the housing.

Fuel shut-off valve

The mounting structure of a fuel device is for mounting the fuel device, which includes a plurality of components, on a baffle plate for suppressing waving of liquid fuel stored in a fuel tank. One of the components of the fuel device is integrally formed, as a mounting portion, with the baffle plate. The remaining components of the fuel device are mounted, as a mounted portion, on the mounting portion of the baffle plate.
