A shaver includes a housing including first and second housing halves defining an interior chamber, the housing having an operational end and an opposite, bottom end, the interior chamber containing a motor acting through a transmission and configured for reciprocally driving a pair of laterally reciprocating drive fingers. Each drive finger includes an elongate finger drive element extending from the operational end. A resilient seal having slits accommodating the finger drive elements is captured in corresponding seal cavities in each of the housing halves. The seal and the housing halves are configured for placing the seal in at least one of radial and axial compression upon assembly of the housing halves together.

A hair clipper is provided, including a clipper housing defining a longitudinal housing axis, having a drive end and including a first housing half and a second housing half, each of the halves having a front end associated with the drive end and an opposite rear end, and each front end defining an attachment formation. Upon assembly of the clipper housing halves, the first and second housing halves are constructed so that the attachment formations are overlapping and are secured using fasteners inserted along a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal housing axis.

A hair clipper attachment comb is provided for use with a powered hair clipper having a clipper bladeset including a stationary blade and a moving blade reciprocating laterally relative to the stationary blade. The attachment comb has a comb base having a rear edge in operational relationship with the stationary blade and an opposite front edge, the base defining a centerline extending between the rear edge and the front edge. A plurality of comb teeth are provided, each having a tooth base associated with the front edge and a tip opposite the tooth base. The teeth are arranged on the comb to have a nonuniform spacing between adjacent teeth relative to the centerline, such that the spacings of the teeth are bilaterally symmetrical about the centerline.

A hair trimmer is provided, including a trimmer housing having a drive end, a drive shaft projecting from the drive end, a support bracket associated with the drive end, and a cutting workhead connectable to the drive shaft and being supported on the trimmer by the support bracket. The cutting workhead is removable from operational engagement with the trimmer housing without the use of tools.

A hair clipper has a base housing, a secondary housing cover, and a rotary motor or vibrator motor secured between the base housing and the housing cover. The rotary motor has a shaft and a cam secured to an end of the shaft, and the vibrator motor has a drive arm with a drive finger. A cam follower is operably connected to the cam or drive finger on a top side. The top side of the cam follower also has an elongated guide rail that is operably secured to a guide channel in a blade guide, which in turn is secured to the base housing. A reciprocating blade is operably secured to the bottom side of the cam follower, and a stationary blade is secured to the base housing adjacent the reciprocating blade.

A hair clipper has a base structural housing with a blade set operably secured thereto. The blade set has a stationary blade and a reciprocating blade. The base has at least one support for a rotary motor. A flexible motor vibration and noise damper fits over half of the motor, and a motor cover is secured to the base structural housing over the vibration damper. A secondary housing cover is secured to the base structural housing over the motor cover.
