A material for separating and pumping oxygen is disclosed. The material is a zeolite doped with a chemical element having an electron density of between 30 kJ/mol and 150 kJ/mol. The material is configured for controllable oxygen desorption between 150° C. and 300° C. and pumping the released oxygen into an area having an ambient pressure of less than 100 pascals.

An injection gate () for high pressure, high velocity secondary fluid for admixture of an atomized spray () thereof with another or primary fluid that atomizes the other fluid. The secondary fluid may be an accelerant and the primary fluid may be a low pressure fuel/air mixture in a fuel injection arrangement for an internal combustion engine. An injection billet () for an engine is interposed between the carburetor () and the manifold (), with an array of such injection gates () paired with an array of fuel/air gates () about an aperture coinciding with a throttle bore () and evenly balancing the spray about the throttle bore, creating a halo effect of atomized admixture of accelerant/fuel. The injection of accelerant is directed sharply downwardly toward the center of the bore and through the injected fuel stream, atomizing the fuel thereof for a high efficiency boost of horsepower.

A structural truss system and electrical conduit for suspended mounting of electrical components such as stage lighting and remote controlled equipment featuring an elongated support beam with removable endcaps and a sidewall. The sidewall is cooperatively engageable with the support beam along substantially its engire length and allows access to the conduit formed inside when engaged with the support beam. A mounting track formed on the exterior surface of said bottom wall of the support beam and provides a slidably engageable mount for component mounts that attach to electrical components such as lights thereby providing positioning ability for the attached components. The combination of reduced flammability and adhesion can be imparted to cured organosiloxane materials when the curable compositions used to prepare these materials contain 1) an adhesion promoting composition comprising up to about 0.1 weight percent, based on the weight of the curable composition, of a chelated organoaluminum compound in combination with an organic epoxide compound and an alkoxysilane or condensation product of the silane, and 2) as a flame-retarding additive, hydrated aluminum oxide and/or magnesium hydroxide, preferably in combination with additional fillers such as quartz.

A measured magnetocardiography signal has a relatively small heart signal mixed with a large noise signal. To produce a heart signal having a reduced noise content, the times of occurrence of a time-series of isoelectric intervals of the measured signal is first determined and a time-series isoelectric artifact curve is formed from the measurements made at those times of occurrence. A time-series non-isoelectric artifact curve for other times is determined from this information. The time-series isoelectric and nonisoelectric artifact curve is subtracted from the measured magnetocardiography time-series signal to yield a time-series heart amplitude signal having reduced noise and undistorted form.

A variable power telescope with an automatic adjustment feature which enables the user of a firearm to automatically and quickly adjust the magnification power of the telescope while maintaining a secure grasp on the firearm with both hands and without losing the target viewed through the telescope. The magnification of the telescope is controlled through a battery-powered motor which can be operated by a switch near the trigger hand, allowing control with one finger on the user's trigger hand. The telescope also prevents operation of the motor beyond the adjustment range of the telescope by providing a shut-off switch that serves as a limit switch at the operational extremes of the telescope.

Tough gels and elastomers are prepared using compositions curable by a platinum catalyzed hydrosilation reaction that are characterized by the presence of a chain extender containing two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule and a cross-linking agent containing at least three silicon bonded hydrogen atoms or alkenyl radicals per molecule, with the proviso that the chain extender contains at least 80 percent of the silicon bonded hydrogen atoms present in the composition or, when said cross-linking agent contains alkenyl radicals, said chain extender contains at least 80 percent of the total moles of silicon bonded hydrogen and said alkenyl radicals.

Organosiloxane compositions yielding tough elastomeric materials

The inability of organosiloxane compositions containing an organohydrogensiloxane as the curing agent and a platinum group metal-containing catalyst to cure completely on substrates containing residues of solder fluxes or other cure-inhibiting materials can be remedied by coating at least that portion of the substrate containing the residue with a layer of an organosilicon compound containing at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule prior to application of the curable organosiloxane composition.

Method for curing organosiloxane compositions in the presence of cure

Catalyst compositions suitable for use in one-part storage stable organosiloxane compositions that cure by a platinum-catalyzed hydrosilation reaction are prepared by blending a liquid complex of a platinum group metal compound and an ethylenically unsaturated organosiloxane compound with an alkylenediamine, and then combining the resultant mixture with an acetylenic alcohol. The catalyst compositions also contain at least one organohydrogensiloxane that is present prior to or during blending of said alkylene diamine with said acetylenic alcohol.

Curing catalyst compositions and method for preparing same

One part organosiloxane compositions exhibiting long term storage stability under ambient conditions and adhesion at curing temperatures below 120.degree. C. comprise a specified combination of platinum catalyst inhibitors and an adhesion promoting composition consisting essentially of a vinyltrialkoxysilane, an epoxy-substituted alkoxysilane, a vinyl-containing hydroxylated polyorganosiloxane, and a chelated aluminum compound.
